@ProtodroneAce78 It's not DC or Marvel, its an original novel that was a best-seller a couple of years ago. This is just an actor's demo-piece which was taking a scene from the novel. You can research the novel via the internet.

I was confused about why dr.impossible made fatale, because the book went nowhere with it, cause i was hoping some kind of betrayal thing going on but it just doesnt do anything with it aside from a bit of tension, can anyone clear this up for me?

@izzbassethound It was a plan he thought of but lost interest in. He really just forgot about her. That was the thing that made Fatale so mad and hit him like she did; she was not even worth his time or attention to develop or use. She was unimportant.

Most of the script is form things Dr. Impossible said. which is cool, but it kind of conveys that Nick Napalm is similar to Dr. Impossible. It was cool and all though. and yes. I read the description. I think it'd be really awesome if it was Dr. Impossible.

I was inspired to read the book from this Clip, but was troubled to find out that Nick Naplam's character wasn't the main focus. I am just getting through chapter 3 but it's still a good read.

I really like this clip, i'm not sure if i left a comment a year ago when i originally saw it but if i did it was surely a positive one.

I'm not sure if i like the fire aura at the end though.

Thanks. As I said it wasn't made to please fans, it was actually just an audition piece for an actor to use on his reel. We never meant to be faithful to the novel, but we're glad that fans of the book are finding things to like about our little project.

I love the idea of this its freaking amazing I agree the actor is a little young for the good doctor, but the speech worked well for him. One of the few literary changes I would have made would have been about the genius status. only because it doesn't fit with Napalm.

As an actor i am over all very impressed and would be very interested in any more info on the project.

I'm afraid that there is no further project at the moment involving this - this was purely done to be a performance piece for the actor Steven A. Davis, for his showreel.

We have no plans to create any more scenes from "Soon I Will Be Invincible"...at least not unless we somehow get to make the movie adaptation for real :)

Yeah we did, but this is an ACTOR'S AUDITION REEL first and an adaptation second. The actor is too young to play Dr Impossible, but we thought he had the best dialogue for the audition reel and so we just combined the two together.

This wasn't produced to impress fans of the novel, it was just an audition reel. We stuck it online just so people could get a kick out of watching it, but it's not meant to be - in any way - faithful to the book nor is it made for fans of the book.

Haha yeah well, it IS only meant to be an actor's showreel. If we really wanted to bring a moment from the novel to life and be faithful, we'd have done it quite differently :-)

wowee. that guy did a great job at putting off the villanous attitude you see in the book. i was disappointed tho. why switch dr. impossible's name for nick napalm? impossible is an awesome character. i dont see why they had to change roles/names or whatever.

Austin Grossman's novel is an absolute phenom.

This adaptation is very enjoyable.

An interesting choice to go with Doc Impossible's internal dialogue as Nick Napalm's rant. I quite enjoyed it.
