I think what Diggity said near the end is right. On this map mobility is really key, and that generally hurts Protoss players because Protoss' prowess is in large, bulky armies, whereas Zerg units are way more expendable and squads of Zerglings, Mutalisks, and even drop tech and be used freely whereas Protoss is really limited in its mobility options. We saw the crackling raids by Jaedong in their proleague meeting. I think Protoss players need to find a way to counter this (sair/reaver?)
sair reaver is very resource intensive early you need to dump it into sairs, reavers, reaver/shuttle upgrades AND air upgrades not to mention cannons and a few zeals to keep from getting bowled over. really need 3 bases for it like on andromeda or maybe even colloseum
as far as countering this kind of build i think much should have tried to just do speed-zeal task forces to raid drones instead of committing his whole army on attacks IMO
I don't like the idea of splitting commentary in two unless forced to (length limits). Less clicks I need to see all the content, the better. In theory this could only help to lower the "spoiling" in comments, but many would still end up commenting the game on the actual game and skip the postgame part. Probably more viewers hear the closure if it's in the same part.
That's funny, because I REALLY like the idea of splitting the commentary and post-game. Granted, it's more work, and seemingly a lot to ask for, and these guys do a lot for us. But if they're willing to go the extra step, it would be a great convenience. Knowing how long the actual game is, and the post-game commentary, makes things easier for a wider range of people and preferences. It's the same reason there's a separate post-game show scheduled in TV sporting events.
Holy shit, I forgot to mention the most important thing: I like the effect the post-game commentary being separated has on the commentators themselves. It gets the dudes here into the mindset of rumination and further analysis, rather than keeping it as a mere afterthought. This way encourages better quality discussion, I really like it! Nice call on this dudes, keep it up.
klaz is right, jaedong could have defended his expos, instead deciding for the counter attack/snipes, it's harder for protoss to switch strat, than zerg. jaedong used that flexibibility to adapt his strat. it was jaedong adapting to much's ground build that won the game.
Like the fact u splited the post game analysis, looks good. And gives u a chance too give u a first reaction comment. and a comment too ur oppinouns on the game!
I think Much tryd too take down the sukens becourse he felt he had too play the game like it was down too who could destroy the other bases fastest. And tryd to take down the ssis defenses as quick as possible with minimum military defenses. Would a starport dts workd better i ont know, maybe. But he prob felt jd is too used to that
And moved towards a later game army from rt instead.. since an early game harras army can only last f so long. And have a minimum time able too affective!
I think Much should have produce one more dark archon and those few archons at least 3-4 minutes before than he did... He also lost few templars and dark archons because he wasn't paying attention to them.
He worked the Dark arkons pretty nice. nice mealstorms, he missed on the first since he didn't storm them, but in the final battle, he used it 2 times, locking 24 (maybe) muttas, 12 that died to storm easy and the other 12 lived due to no Templars.
Great split up commentary

it seems the idea is to allow viewers to skip this part if they indeed dont like it
it also allows for viewers to comment on the game at the game and comment on what the commentators said or speculated about the game here
personally i like it

I like splitting the post-game analysis from the game. Very cool idea. Thanks for doing that.

I think JaeDong could have expanded if he wanted towards the end. But probably knew he had Much by the balls so didn't bother.

I agree with Klaz. Jaedong had the control. And let Much do some dmg.
Nice post game analysis.
