  • It's a good video, but on the car in the garage point, it can be in both places, technically. Look up Schrodinger's cat.

  • The idea that an object can only be in one place at a time is simply an observation of what happens in the world with macroscopic objects. It is unwise to use this observation as the basis for any sort of logical argument. After all, sub-atomic particles can be in two places at once.

  • @mandolinic I'm sure you are incorrect. Give an example of a sub-atomic particle that was detected at more than one place simultaneously. That we don't know where exactly is the particle does not necessarily mean it is all over the place.

  • @upisoft2 double-slit experiment (repeated with photons, electrons and some other sub-atomic partciles) is scientificly accepted as evidence for particle/waves to be present at more than one place at the same time. Although there might still be different reasons and explanations, the only situation that then remains impossible is that the particles are at one place at one time.

  • @MagnusNyborg Funny, when the test is repeated and when the particles are actually detected which slit they go through, the go through exactly one slit. When "which path" detector is removed, we don't know which path they go. In both cases the particle is detected at only 1 place at given time. When not watching at slits the particle is detected only at the screen. How you imagine the particle behave until detection does not change the fact it was detected at only 1 place.

  • @MagnusNyborg continued...

So, I'm still waiting for an example where a particle was detected at more than 1 place at given time.

  • @upisoft2 then you can keep waiting, because the theory also predicts the measurement collapses the all the relevant wavefunction and causes a reset.

However, the double slit experiment shows that the particle cannot exist in only one place during the travel, because then no interfering wavepattern would be detected.

While being a conundrum, the experiment is conclusive on what happens - just not conclusive on _why_.

  • @MagnusNyborg The fact is we don't know anything about how particles travel. What you've said is pure speculation. We can't predict where the particle will hit the screen, the only thing we can predict is how large number of particles will behave statistically.

Anyway you insisted that a particle "can be in two places at once", and now you can't support it with example. You only have some vague idea how particles behave when we are not watching them.

  • @upisoft2 and you have an even vaguer idea of what the experiment actually shows.

As i said earlier, the only possibility ruled out by the experiment is that particles always exist in one location at one time. That means it can be in more than one place at one time, atleast under some criteria. Study the Venn-diagram of the possibilities of the outcome.

  • @MagnusNyborg Not ruled out. Example De Broglie - Bohm theory. I'm not asserting it is true, I just give an example that actually there is a theory that say the particles have definite single location at given time. They explain the double slit experiment without the need for the particles to be in two places at once. Thus, you have the vaguest idea about the experiment :)

  • @upisoft2 the experiment performed by Aspect et al. disagrees with De Broglie - Bohm theory, because it shows inconcistency with theories that include hidden variables (basically all non-local theories, like De Broglie - Bohn). The non-local aspects also disagrees with GR as it in most cases requires a prefered frame of reference. Furthermore, De Broglie - Bohm theory does not handle such a simple thing as momentum properly.

    Quantum Mechanics agrees with those.

  • @MagnusNyborg Can you give a link to the test? All I can find is test that rule out local hidden variables theories. Bohm theory is non-local. Also it does not predict that usable information or matter can exceed speed of light. There is already observer velocities, like phase velocity, that can exceed speed of light. However you can't use them to send FTL message. Thus GR has nothing to say about such velocities.

  • thumbs up for the chippendales.

silly theists and their attempts at logic

  • @bloodhyren ;-)

  • Props for the logical discussion, and the epic voice

  • @die8922 Thanks.

  • Matthew 19:26 says that it is entirely possible to have a single car that is and is not parked in the garage at the same time. If one believes in a creator God unfettered by the laws of nature and dictates of logic, then he, she, it, or they have no problem with arranging for the car to be in and not in the garage simultaneously. I don’t think it crosses most believers’ minds.

  • as a child i was taught in bible school that there was pleasant hereafter for the followers of jesus ,i would indeed ,prefer that such a place might exist but an honest and dilligent appraisal of the historical origins of such claims has made me come to regard them in the same light with which i was taught to regard the various unfounded claims of all other "heretical" religions .

in point of fact ,there is no real good reason to suppose that a historical jesus ever even existed

  • Those guys are sexy.

    What? They are.

  • In the wikipedia article on my scandinavian homecountry it says that we have a whopping TWO percent regular churchgoers up here now! And they're getting fewer still(Maybe dying of old age or something, hehe?):)

  • Europe is happy as ever and atheism is on the rise.

  • @Yahweigh Lucky, I wish people in America would wise up.

  • God is maklar

  • the original video has been removed? haha

  • i agree so much to what you say.

there is only one way a persons car can and can not be in his garrage. and that would be if he was not telling the truth about even having a car. :P

because then he could lie and say his car is in the garrage, and lie to say his car is not in his garrage.

yes, it wouldn't be a lie to say there is not a car in the garrage. but it would be a lie to say his car is not in the garrage, because he wouldn't have one to begin with. :)

just a little food for thought.

  • oh i forgot to add we are processes inside of proceses inside and out of systems upon systems.no i dont believe in multi universes whos to say thats what it is.the universe maybe a marble on somebodys desk. or a program in gods computer or a supreme beings computer or a process, systems computer or a marble on a flee on a carpet in some ordinary guy's place.you make the thought how ever you want.

  • those prior philosophers got their knowledge from their own personal experience and from things that had happened to others around them as well as from prior pagan religionexperiences passed down to them going thousands of years back.as to feeling emense set backs and hardships one must be un aware of them or not know the thing that is happening to them

or be sedate in giving it all up for one cause or another.

  • It's not like God is going to stop talking to you if you become an atheist.

He doesn't talk to you ever.

    He can't. He doesn't exist.

  • If not believing there is a God (or gods) leads you into dispair, either your ego is too big, or it is too small.

The Universe was not created for you. It doesn't care about you. It is far more magnificent that you. The world is not just (more bizarre) than we imagine, it is (more bizarre) than we can imagine - paraphrased from C Haldane

  • If you're weak enough to fall into despair because you suddenly think there is no mystical magical purpose to life, then you deserve to be dumb enough to believe in a deity.

  • @Celephaith So you think you had a pot of gold, and now you find out you actually didn't. You never had it in the first place, so why be upset?

It's the same concept as Dumbo's magic feather. Sadly though, 5 years-olds can understand the concept of Dumbo's feather, but grown adults can't understand the same concept when it's in terms of God.

  • Everyone is an atheist in one way or another. Jews, Christians and Muslims don't believe in Thor, Zeus and Isis. PofMTH just takes it one step further.

  • @rdsanchez1966 Sorry, but you're wrong. Atheism is the rejection of all god claims. Theism is the acceptance of at least one god claim.

  • @HeavenlyRa

I dont hold a belief in any God(s), nor do i reject the claims of God(s), i simply dont believe in them. I would personally define myself as a none theist ( theist meaning someone who believes in atleast one God ) and therfor label myself a-theist ( none theist ).

But what would you call someone like me then? :P

  • @Turha101 An atheist.

  • @HeavenlyRa

Then what was the rejection of all god claims about?

Im not trying to be an ass, but its something many people get confused about since they take it the wrong way.

But im glad you seem to understand the definition of atheism

  • @Turha101 It means that you don't believe in any gods. You don't accept any of the god claims as true. And as an atheist, I hope I'd understand the definition...

  • @HeavenlyRa

Yeh my bad, i understood the way you used the word ''reject'' wrong, i have had too many debates with theist who have looked up the word, and take it as atheist believe that there are no God(s).

  • @Turha101 That's why I said "god claims". You reject those, not actually a god.

  • @HeavenlyRa

I wouldnt say that atheist reject God claims, i would say that they simply dont believe in them ( after doing a quick google search on the word reject, things like this came up '' To refuse to accept, submit to, believe, or make use of.'' which is certanly not what i would say many atheist do)

  • @Turha101 Ah. By reject, I just mean to not accept. Not exactly refuse, but just to not.

  • @HeavenlyRa

Oke didnt really think you meant reject as in refuse, however it was kinda missleading :P

  • @Turha101 Yes. I'm sorry for that.

  • Atheism = unyielding despair.....lol..

Nothing could be filled with more despair than living a lifelong lie in the belief that the brutal torture and death of a 1st century Jewish rabbi will somehow get you in a place where for the rest of eternity all you get to do is worship an insecure deity.

  • In the interest of fairness, I should mention that I'm an atheist and I'm pretty severely depressed. But...my depression stems from the near constant facepalming I do as a result of believers, the willfully ignorant, and similar others and their effect on our world as a whole. They've managed to pretty well convince me that they are an unstoppable juggernaut that will cause humanity's extinction with their stupidity.

  • I earned a million dollars before your mom spanked your ass. The spin off of Real Estate Finance is difficult to fathom, the spin off of trying to prove God doesn't exist is as exasperating and futile as being a university administrator, I'm not the least bit surprised at the condition of the country these last few years, look who's been inspiring the minds of the young. I spent the better part of every day with the Admiral, and this twat's got me on my 3rd channel! All I hear are BATTLE CRYS!

  • Pussy/Pussies, don't make no dif to me, you still have never seen any action, you've never been in a fire fight, and you couldn't fight your way out of a wet paper bag. God honors COURAGE, not proper spelling! I fought for your right to dis me, what have you ever done for me?

  • If the car happens to belong to Schroedinger is it in a garage in one reality, and not in the garage in the other?

  • God...somebody say something about it.

  • Every time I see this video I think of a car parked half in and half out of a garage.

  • I cannot understand how theists think we're so unhappy. We might have some lingering bitterness, and that is understandable; to be lied to by a mythical book and its advocates can do that. However, we are generally pleased with our lives.

  • @bartonim We think you're ignorant too for believing that evidence is only empirical and scientific. 13 million cases of Life after Death in the US alone. I love the attempts to explain organized lucid experience unviersally the same all over the world after a person dies! "Well, people have to create these hallucinations", "Chemicals in the BRAIN", "Hypoxia". How many different states of consciousness do you need to produce a reasonable explanation for what the brain experiences when dead?

  • @BeTheFastestLoser Going by the law of averages, I'm assuming that in countries with a higher population than the U.S. with different theolgies (Hindi, Muslem etc.), why is it that we are not seeing a higher conversion rate from X religion to Christianity? Seeing as higher populations would yield higher post/near death experiences.

  • @berner I'm not arguing religion. This dumb prick who uploaded the video is a dyed in the wool atheist posing as a skeptic, doubter, and ignoramus, an AGNOSTIC. I can only prove God, and the existence of the soul. There's a higher conversion rate away from atheism as people get older. If people do by nature what's contained in law they become a law unto themselves. In larger countries as well as here NDE's are just beginning to be regarded for what they are scientific fact, they're not reported

  • @BeTheFastestLoser "This dumb prick who uploaded the video...."

LOL! Thanks for the laugh, douche bag. Your lofty rhetoric is just too fancy for this forum.

  • @ProfMTH Lofty rhetoric is all 3 of your names. Those you can't do pretend to be able to teach, and administrate those who can't do and pretend to be able to teach. There are no poor students only infidel reprobate professors. I'm privy to the intellects your responsible for nurturing, and I pity your soul, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for dumping the most prolific losers in the history of the US into our economy. No analytical skills, not one original thought among 'em, yours!

  • @ProfMTH It's Reverend Douche bag to you ass wipe.

  • @BeTheFastestLoser "It's Reverend Douche bag to you ass wipe."

Nope. Just Douche Bag. Have a nice life. I'm sure the nurse will be around with you next set of meds any second.

  • Your camera is broken.

  • If I was a scintilla of who I claim to be, would I have a problem finding you? You're an antitheist and you're the publicity whore peddling enough for all those who also lack any courage of their convictions. Via con Dios until my Dad and I see you in person!

  • @SoCaLPianoClub Sounds like you just want to be threatening "in person". This comment is just a threat. And maybe in day to day life you may be able to intimidate people to concede. But you would still be completely wrong. Besides you sir "lack any courage of your conviction" as you have to resort to threats. Kinda pathetic actually. And so what if you find him there is now a record here of your threat if anything happened to him your the first one the cops will talk to? Are you that dumb?

  • I meant anti-theist. I've never met either an atheist or an anti theist which both you and the Doctor are, I relish the opportunity to meet in the real world. Anyone can write or be whatever they want here on youtube, but the minute you're called out your arguments ALL fail!

  • I've seen enough of your "work" Doctor, but thanks.

  • Atheists are way happier than theists. Look at the middle east; happy people don't fly planes into buildings. Plus, Atheists don't have guilt like theists. Theists live their life as if they are always under a microscope and being judged and always have to live up to a set of rules and guidelines that I don't have to worry about. I used to be a Christian but am way happier now that I am an Atheist and don't have to feel guilty about drinking and hooking up with various lady friends.

  • Greek philosophers don't predate Christ. Even if one were to abandon his divinity by immaculate conception he is still the fulfillment of Hebrew prophecy as the long awaited Messiah. Christ's referral as the Son of God can be found in the many expressions that were recorded and connotate pre existence. Do you only have a Masters Degree and in what subject?

  • @shizzleman8 "Greek philosophers don't predate Christ."

As a matter of fact they do.

    "his divinity by immaculate conception"

You might want to consult a theologian on what the Immaculate Conception actually is.

"he is still the fulfillment of Hebrew prophecy as the long awaited Messiah"

No, he isn't. Watch my "Jesus Is Not the Messiah" series.

"Do you only have a Masters Degree and in what subject?"

I have a doctorate. What does that matter?

  • @ProfMTH I'm Ordained every way I person can be, I've just got done consulting myself, and as I previously stated the pre existance of Christ is prominent in every Biblical doctrine regardless of what someone believes about immaculate conception, as in The Beginning and as in the Resurrection. I am born on the Feast Day of Immaculate Conception to a Man who outranks the Supreme Existent on every level, it's also a Declaration of War Day! This year it fell on Honukkah, 2 more Festivals. :-p

  • @shizzleman8 OK. Hey, I'm sure the nurse will be in with your meds any minute now.

  • @ProfMTH I got a better idea, why don't you give me your address and we can work it out in person?

  • @shizzleman8 " I got a better idea, why don't you give me your address and we can work it out in person?"

Yeah, like I would ever give a nut like you my address. And what exactly do we have to "work out" anyway? Meh, I don't really care. Go peddle your crazy somewhere else. Adios!

  • @ProfMTH Hahaha, Greek philosophers don't predate Christ!! Doesn't that just make your jaw drop? I mean really, the balls to say something like that. What do you say, home schooled or private christian school? My bet is home schooled. If so, probably an evangelical parent at that. I'm just glad he's not in charge of writing school texts books.

  • @zacbouwens

Ummm....Socrates was born about 450 years before the alleged time of Jesus. Plato about 428 BC -- again, 400 years before Jesus. Aristotle was born in 384 BC -- that's 350 years before Jesus. Those are the three primary Greek philosophers that we study today (there are others, but like those three, they all live hundreds of years prior to the alleged birth of Jesus).

You're factually in error. Unless you don't understand the word "predate" in which case you're illiterate.

  • @middlekk I'm sorry if you were confused but I was making fun of Shizzleman8. Sarcasm doesn't read well on the internet. I read your comment and was like 'woah, shot across the bow'. haha, friendly fire :)

  • @zacbouwens

    My apologies.

  • @zacbouwens I've got an upload of me juggling a 5 ball cascade, I'm up to 15 catches now, uploads of me playing Praeludium and Layla Piano Exit on piano, and Stranglehold, and In My Time of Dying on the guitar. I also have a video on how to make your own music charts. I've been doing all these activities for 35 years. They've all been proven to increase brain mass. Why not do instead of make fun. On my Shizzleman8 channel you can see my son with the Reverend Sharpton! R U REVERED?

  • @shizzleman8 It's easy to read past events and prophecies into texts by people in the future looking for something to align and sound good. Your hungry for proof of Jesus being messiah so whatever sounds even close "fits", hell if read Nostradamus and he just as well may have predicted Jesus coming (I know he postdates Jesus) The new testament was written and rewritten by men who wanted and needed their stories to line up with the old testament. Read Misquoting Jesus by Bart D. Ehrmen or similar

  • @shizzleman8 If Jesus was the Christ, the Jews would believe in him as such, don't you think? The Messhiac was supposed to become king of the Jews, according to prophecy, which Jesus clearly did not.

  • @shizzleman8 Jesus resolutely did not fulfill the messianic prophesies. Please read a Hebrew bible.

  • @friedie1jeff Atheism Wins! We get to go on Banking. @SoCaLPianoClub @Shizzleman8 are 2 other channels the self-proclaimed prof. has blocked of mine. If you want meaningful discourse without CENSORSHIP you'll need to avail elsewhere. She's an intellectual derelict who cowers in the dark.

  • @BeTheFastestLoser What makes you think that I am an atheist? My comment was that Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophesies as delineated in the Hebrew bible. Are you an evangelical Christian? Evangelical Christians seem to believe that if one is not a Christian, then one is an atheist. It appears that that is how you "think", also.

  • @friedie1jeff I'm a completed Jew Banker, it doesn't matter to me what you are, or what you believe. I don't answer to academic pussys like this bitch either. Have a nice day.

  • @BeTheFastestLoser "I don't answer to academic pussys like this bitch either."

The plural of 'pussy' is 'pussies'.

  • @shizzleman8 Hmmm, interesting, and how does that relate to the use of logic being stolen from Xtianity as stated in the video? or were you just correcting the statement about the founding of Xtianity?

  • If you pull halfway into a garage, it can be both. Parked in and not parked in the garage :)

  • @zacbouwens Here is a person of letters. I've oft said that atheists have a hard time accepting 2 apparently opposing ideas being true at the same time, like the Theories of Evolution and Creation. H-2-0 can be steam, ice and liquid but it's still one.

  • @shizzleman8 I don't understand your point. Atheists can't reconcile conflicting propositions? Let me try, evolution + creation = intelligent design. 2 hydrogen + 1 oxygen = liquid water, H2O x cold = Ice, H2O x Heat = steam, H20 x several thousand degrees Celsius = Plasma, H2O + electrolysis = pure hydrogen and pure oxygen

  • @zacbouwens You're obviously too "high" functioning to understand that atheists represent 1/2 of 1 percent of Americans and anti atheists are non existent, my offer to the Dr. goes out to you too, I publish my address and will back every word I say in person, you are two cowards who don't do either.

  • @shizzleman8 I've read that atheism is around 1%, but to say "anti atheists are non existent" is simply untrue. Most if not all deists are anti-atheist. I don't publish my email address so I'm not spammed. The only thing that would come out of us talking face to face would be seeing each others faces turn red. I was formerly an Evangelical Protestant that went to a First Assembly of God. I know the whole argument before hand. Thanks for the backhanded compliment.

  • @zacbouwens Well no, it's halfway like you said. With the possibilities of being in or out of the garage. Besides the fact that the idea of whether it's "all the way in" or "all the way out" of a "garage". Is merely labeling a created mental category. Sounds nice. But ultimately wrong. :) Not tryin' to be prick just thought i'd point that out!

  • @Christopholaes I agree. The argument is a hypothetical and a mind exercise. Profmth isn't arguing for the car and garage deduction, he stated it to show the absurdity of the argument that Mike guy his video was countering.

  • Clearly, no atheist can be happy. It's just like how I don't like radishes: that means nobody can like them.

  • lol i went to watch the video you are rebutting and its gone he must have been scared wow.

  • So you were broadcasting live from the dark cavern of atheistic despair, which is why the video was all black., but at the end of the video with the Chippendale dancers, it was no longer dark. Would this light at the end of the video be your metaphorical emergence from the dark cavern of atheistic despair, and thus your embracing of god? If so, then is god a Chippendale dancer? And are you required to embrace him?

    I shouldn't post when drunk.

  • @sleazybtd lol

  • @sleazybtd lol, if anything, post more when drunk.

  • Um, if God doesn not exist, then isn't Veritas' "meaning" also fake? Is it not also a placebo? Does these people think at all?

  • VIDEO HAS BEEN REMOVED BY POSTER!!! HAHA THIS VIDEO = EPIC WIN!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey prof,

This is a great reductio ad absurdum. I wonder how bill craig would respond to this.

  • Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?" Priest: "No, not if you did not know." Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?"

  • This apologist obviously never heard of Schrodingers Cat.

  • @mrchacko haahaahahahaa I love it. good job :D

  • How can not accepting a non-verifiable claim be labelled a logical fallacy? I never saw the original video, but just title is a non-starter fail.

  • when we can stone adulterers like it says in the bible?

  • If God does exist should the atheist expect to see more evidence of God’s existence than what we do see? It seems to me that some atheists have either closed their mind to even the possibility of God or have not considered the logical implications of a naturalistic worldview. Consider for example all the evidence concerning the Big bang and what we could expect from blind forces & random mindless processes:-

  • 1. We know that the initial entropy & expansion rate had 2b exactly the values they were. If the universe was infinitely old all the usable energy wouldve long dissipated. If the strong nuclear force was any weaker we would have swirling clouds of neutrons, electrons& protons, if the e &p ratio was not exactly 1:1 we wouldnt have 112 elements, if there was any variation in the constants of gravity and nuclear forces or their ratios –no planets, no life. Sadly any old universe just wont do.

  • 2. Now what is implied by Einstein’s ‘rationally intelligible universe’? the latter is defined by universal unchanging immaterial laws. Would we expect the 4 independent forces and their constants to fall within exquisitely narrow, life-permitting values defining a universe of immense power, precision & and predictability? Would we expect a mind to evolve that could find &decipher the beauty of the maths that underpins this precision. Lastly do u have enough faith to be an atheist?

  • As the Scriptues say, "The heavens declare the glory of God and the earth reveals His handiwork"

and "man has seen sufficient evidence but has suppressed this knowledge in unrighteousness"

  • @dashan091 The Scriptures also say that you are to sell all your possessions and give to the poor and completely devote your life to Christ. They also say women aren't allowed to speak in church (sorry Protestant female preachers). It says you shouldn't chant prayers together, and certainly not in the streets; you're to pray in your closet. Also, if you get sued in court and the judge rules against you, you're to give more than what the judge/jury rewarded the other person. Hypocrite much?

  • @dashan091

So it seems you're saying the universe is fine tuned for life.

Then why would we be simultaneously radiated, exploded, and frozen if we go 100 Kilometers up?

    Perhaps constants just cannot change.

Pi must equal 3.1415962... it cannot be anything else.

(Even though The Bible says that Pi equals three.)

    Atheism requires zero faith.

  • @L00NGB00W Such wisdom from the ill-informed? Why do I bother? Fine tuning is not about the temperature of ours or hostile planets or their lack of O2 or water. Its about WHY anything at all exists. Its about e.g. the cosmological constant having a value of 1x10to 120th power. Any other value and we have no universe period! Its about all these independent constants having absurdly narrow life-permitting values. Get it? Nope, didnt think so. Google Dr. Hugh Ross

  • @dashan091

Why do you bother? Haha. Don't ask me. Don't assume I don't know what fine tuning is. And it's not polite to debate while sitting on your high horse.

Why do you think I mentioned the CONSTANT Pi? It's just as much a fundamental value as any other constants. It can't be different. Why would you think any of the other universe's constants would be?

Frankly, the argument for fine tuning is baseless. There is no indication that physical laws could be any other way. Why bother? haha

  • I dont have enough faith to be an atheist.! "The appearance of design in the universe is overwhelming but we can’t afford to attribute design to an actual designer". The God Delusion R.Dawkins. Just accept it, design & fine-tuning are obvious. Now give me a naturalistic eplanation? Maybe u can shoot a dart across the universe & with a lot of luck, hit a 20 cm target 4 times in a row. The only thing incomprehensible about the universe is that it's comprehensible A. Einstein.

  • @dashan091

"I dont have enough faith to be an atheist."

Strange. The trick is actually to have none. Be skeptical.

The key word in Richard's quote was "the APPEARANCE of" design. Sure, we can look at the universe, and imagine that some magical guy made it, or we can look at the universe and try to understand it's origins. I favor the latter.

Sure, we might assume the wing, or eye, or flagellum were designed, but that's not where the evidence points. It points to evolution. =)

  • atheists are IGNORANT

  • i love the law of non contradiction, because most people who use it, don't really understand it. while in most cases it is impossible to be both x and not x, in some situation it is possible to be x and not x. think of Schrodinger's cat, or the fact that an electron can be in two places at once. it can be both at x and not at x at the same time.

  • How could anyone think that Lincoln and Jefferson--both notorious atheists--with the incredible productivity of their lives, and all of their great public benefactions--had lives that were unlivable because of despair, or their wallowing in sin, or any of the other ridiculous lies that Christians tell about the lives of atheists?

  • @HConstantine Because even those who reject Him have God's morality written on their hearts. Given that greed, corruption, dishonest trading, racism are endemically entrenched in society, few have little reason to head the inner voice of conscience. The consequences and their effects on all of us are all too obvious.

  • @dashan091 Hitler, Himmler, Haggard--all Christians, and that's just the Hs.

  • @HConstantine Hitler a christian: "even the devil quotes Scripture" Hitler was about as much a Catholic as Dawkins is an Anglican, Dan Barker, a preacher and Anthony Flew, the greatest atheist of the 20th century.

You must like Hitchens in nearly all his debates on God/s existence he uses the same lame if not deceitful distortion to further his cause.

  • Hitler cleverly assessed the sorry state of Germany after WW1 and used Scripture in all his early sermons to incite and inspire his countrymen. Not surprisingly after gaining power, his true intentions for fascism and the Nazi party became all to clear when he began exterminating the "lesser creatures" which he saw as a moral necessity. Following are some quotes from his later sermons:

  • “The Ten Commandments have lost their validity. Conscience is a Jewish invention, it is a blemish like circumcision.” “The law of selection justifies this incessant struggle, by allowing the survival of the fittest. Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure.” &“National Socialism and religion cannot exist together" Sounds like his patron saint was one C.Darwin

  • @dashan091 Hitler was a good Christian, and his anti-semitism was rooted in Christian tradition.

  • @HConstantine It is clear u have no intention of addressing anything I said. U still claim Hitler was a Christian despite his admiration for Nietzche and Darwin. Do u think when Hitler said “The law of selection justifies this incessant struggle, by allowing the survival of the fittest." came out of the Bible or his version of "Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin? It was his way of ridding the world of the genetically impure albeit by a faster process than "natural selection."

  • @dashan091 If it's one thing I can't stand it's a liar. Hitler hated the idea of biological evolution. What is so horrible about admitting Hitler was a Christian (a Catholic to be more precise)? Do you think it somehow stains your religion if some madman also believes in it? It saddens me that there are people so intellectually corrupt that they feel the need to lie to protect their faith.

  • @HConstantine u obvious cant read or refuse to admit that Hitler said-The law of selection justifies this incessant struggle, by allowing the survival of the fittest." Did he get such a view from the Bible or his interpretation of "Origin of Species"? My take is Hitler had a strict Church upbringing & cleverly used scripture in his rise to power. Sadly absolute power corrupts & his true plan became all to clear. He was also a great fan Nietzsche &presented his works to Himmler.

  • @dashan091 Hitler has a very poor understanding of Nietzsche though, using only the name of one of Nietzsche's propositions (the overman) as a reason to destroy the "underman" (something Nietzsche never spoke about). Nietzsche was also against German nationalism and antisemitism. Just sayin'.

  • @dashan091 SO if you argue that virtuous Christians act at God's prompting, and virtuous atheists act at god's prompting, that sort of make it hard to falsify your position. It also means that virtue is irrelevant. If some of the virtuous are saved while others are damned, then virtue plays no role in salvation, but only belief. In that case, everyone ought to sin as robustly as Hitler (which you seem to think everyone want to do), and then accept Jesus at the last instant.

  • @HConstantine By whose criteria do u judge anyone to be a sinner? By ur worldview however, ur microcosmic, short life ultimately has no meaning & no escape. For when we return to dust, oblivion is like we never existed. In non-existence our achievments mean nothing, as all our history will be in the heatdeath of our solar system, ask Sam harris

  • "But we have to be honest—unremittingly honest. We seek pleasant sights, and sounds, and tastes, and sensations, and attitudes. We satisfy our intellectual curiosities, and our desire for friendship and romance. but our pleasures are, by their very nature, fleeting. We can do nothing more than merely reiterate them as often as we are able. If we enjoy some great professional success, our feelings of accomplishment remain vivid and intoxicating for about AN HOUR." What then?

  • @dashan091 A good shorthand index for judging who is a sinner is to listen to how loudly they trumpet themselves as possessed of Christian virtue--I have found few exceptions to the rule that thy more someone proclaims himself a Christian, the worse sinner they are.

  • @HConstantine Being Christian in hardly a claim to perfection. It is a recognition that we ARE sinners and unworthy of God's love. But we keep on trying because of the hope that is within us- in some small way we try to bring that hope to a world possessed by intolerance, violence greed and corruption.

  • @dashan091 Also, I think anyone who personally slaughters babies is a sinner. I suppose you disagree since you worship as good something that claims to have killed hundreds of thousands or millions of babies at one go in the flood, more at Sodom, and which ordered its followers to dash babies' brains out against the wall.

  • @HConstantine Also, I think anyone who personally slaughters babies is a sinner. I suppose you disagree.

Should I? As I said do u make this twaddle up or r u quoting from Atheists for dummies 101?

  • @dashan091 Gen 6-7

  • dashan091

Also, I think anyone who personally slaughters babies is a sinner

And this is just another reason why yahweh, the killer of children, should be labeled as the Psychopath that he was!

Lets all give thanks to the FSM that yahweh was a product of the barbarians who invented him!

  • @Cootabux The victors of the 6 Day War. The Israelites faced against 3 armies on 4 fronts won in 6 days what us Americans with superior fire power and technology and intelligence can't do against 2 enemies in almost 8 years, those are barbarians or are they just the winners? How exactly does an invention do all those things, I mean one invented thousands of years ago?

  • @shizzleman8 Easily. And because it was invented thousands of years ago. As nobody knew any better yet. They thought diseases were curses. Every natural phenomena was god(s) acting upon the earth. Even rainbows confused them. All now almost completely understood. In cause and function. Much of this ignorance used to explain many supposed miracles in the bible. Which shows at least some of the bible is complete superstition. How do u rationalise that?

  • @shizzleman8

Hahaha! You mean the aggressors, who used our Western technology and started the war with a surprise attack, were able to secure land right next to them (rather than accomplishing the more difficult task of overthrowing a regime on the other side of the world and surrendering political power back to its inhabitants)? Wow! That's quite an accomplishment. </sarcasm>

  • Theists believe they are the only happy people yet worship a baby killing god and symbolically eat flesh and drink blood. Satanism much?

  • @HybridD91 Why imagine a god that only u believe in? Do u create a god u hate because u fear he may exist? Youre lack of belief &distain for God’s existence has no bearing on it being true or false. Maybe u'd rather believe in flying spaghetti monsters, horoscopes, UFO or fairies as a means of explaining your origin, purpose & destiny? There can only be one answer for your "why" questions that makes any sense- "I have carved you on palm of my hand." Isaiah 40.

  • Of course it's bullshit, but when they say we non-believers 'cannot account for logic,' they are saying that the only possible explanation for human beings being able to use logic is that we were created by the god of the Bible. They think that purely material brains cannot be conscious and logical. They do not mean to say that we derive our understanding of logic only from studying the New Testament.

  • @eulercircles Oh, I know.

  • @ProfMTH Two experts on material and space. Nothing is purely material. What kind of grades did you get at college? I know smart people, neither of you are them.

  • @eulercircles Arent u just a cosmic accident, a slave to your DNA, programmed for survival & procreation? Isnt Darwin right about semi-literate apes who cant be trusted to make truth statements. What has survival instincts got to do with understanding of truth, justice and morality? Isnt Peter Singer right? "children can be bred as organ donors." What's wrong with "killing rhe genetically impure, sick or aged so that the fittest might survive" A. Hitler

  • According to Stephen C. Meyer, the Darwinist has to make an incredible leap of faith to claim that dead chemicals produced both proteins and DNA which then were able to self-replicate & fine-tune themselves with incredible accuracy by purely natural processes. Moreover Michael Denton observed that to get from these complex organic molecules to living cells and then to all the extraordinary forms of life without a designer “is no more or less than the great cosmological myth of our times.”

  • @eulercircles "we non-believers 'cannot account for logic" As a semilierate aped programmed for survival, the product of ancient chemicals & blind forces, u have no way of accounting for anything immaterial, like universal, unchanging laws, logic, morality or consciousness because by ur own definition ur just a cosmic accident, the product of sociobiological evolution and thus a bunch of molecules in motion. Such is the absurdity of life without God!

  • @dashan091 No, what's absurd is you just repeating the words of the arch idiot Greg Bahnsen, with no argument or basis whatsoever. If human beings evolved by natural processes, why would we NOT be able to account for logic, unchanging laws, or consciousness? I'll leave the 'accounting for anything immaterial' to you since you're the one who believes in such poppycock. You're barking up the wrong tree if all you have is presuppositionalist sophistry.

  • Yes, it is fake meaning. But assuming that meaning is a human concept, then what else would there be, and what better option then to just go with it?

  • Veritas believs what he believes because it is true for him and him alone. If he woul despair without belief in god then everyone else should do aswell. Despite the fact I have been an Atheist for years and happy for that time aswell.

  • more chippendales and love your vids btw

  • @Hisseefits Thanks a lot.

  • This person sounds like such a jerk. I can`t take it. What`s the point of being an atheist in this Satanic New World Order? Haven`t you seen the 666 on the bar code, or how the European Union is the Tower of Babyl from Genesis? Haven`t you seen how almost every single music video that is being released now a days is satanic in nature??? please wake up and open your eyes.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 Don't you worry, TrunkMonkey. The nurse should be in to give you your next dose of medications any minute.

  • @ProfMTH

    ROFLMFAO!!!!

Holy Shit! ...I almost fell out of my chair!!!

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 DOCTOR?! He's awake again!

  • @Spoonfoon Do the research yourself. Find the 500 year old painting of the tower of babyl created by peter the elder. Then compare it with the EU Poster . Just google image search EU Poster. Then compare the EU Poster's message with the Bible's story of the Tower of Babyl in Genesis. Or you could just remain ignorant :) Your choice.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 Ok, so a 500 y/o paintin of a mythical tower from a book 2000 years ago kind of looks like a modern day structure, thus proving the world is satanic...

Yeah, I'm gonna stick with my original diagnosis.... And I'm afraid it isn't looking good. I don't think your mind is gonna pull through...

  • @Spoonfoon A simple analysis of symbols would reveal more than enough. Have you ever thought about what is the Egyptian Pyramid with the All-Seeing Eye of Horus on the bakc of the US $1 bill? It`s nothing else but the Tower of Babyl. The Tower was an UNFINISHED structure humans built to reach the very heavens, in other words to reach god. That`s what you have on the back of the world reserve currency, 1 of the worlds largest financial institution (Fidelity), countless movies... Need I go on??

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 "Need I go on??" - I didn't want you to start.

Incidentally, basic internet searches can help you not be so woefully insane...

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 "with the All-Seeing Eye of Horus on the bakc of the US $1 bill? It`s nothing else but the Tower of Babyl" yes i'm pretty sure that you threw away all your american dollars and live in poverty. after all, because you really believe it, you don't want to worship the devil, do you? you don't want to go to hell do you? whenever you throw away your "satanic" money, let me know, i'm sure i could use that money to buy a book called; "how not to be so gullible".
