The only solution to this mess is for arabs to move to arab lands. Israel tries to put up with you but you are not wanted. So, why live where you are not wanted? Maybe you won't have the modern comforts you are use to in Israel but it's not your country. If you don't want problems pack it up and head to a arab area. If you don't then don't get an attitude when you are treated without respect.
The Jewist supremacists are the problem. They control american media, hollywood, political system and most major universities AND major US and world banking institutions. realzionistnews for a dose of reality. Also maxkeiser for world financial and banking reality.
Hey, how about the 30 foot jewish menorah on the white house lawn at christmas? where's the nativity scene. Hidden away in an alcove somewhere in the white house. Jews rule fools!
All right. Now that we've seen the Palestinian perspective, where's the Israeli perspective? Oh, wait, you don't have it to post? I see...rather one-sided.
She's advocating for Palestinians, and against Israel, which is her right. But i wonder why she dramatically distorts the demographics of the region? I suspect her goal is to make it look as if Israel is on the verge of being demographically overwhelmed by Palestinian Muslims.
She states Israel has "5 million Jews, and 1 million Arabs (sic)," but there are 6.5 million Jews in Israel. Why would she get this easily verifiable fact wrong? I know it seems small, but its 30% error!!!
The land and it's people, the Palestinians have existed for thousands of years, in ancient times they were call philistines, but for now... Utilize search function at: whatreallyhappened(dot)com "Map of Palestine" 1851 1864 1866 1887 Even in Biblical times Jews never made up more than 3% of the population. Utilize search function: "palestine never existed" rys2sense(dot)com
Great presentation... I wish there were more people who could do things like this in the US, to show a proper picture of what goes on in the occupied territories.
i have one word 2 reply 2 wht u said: BULLSHIT. if israel would get their asses off Palestinian land and END the occupation, Palestinians wouldnt resort 2 blowing up buses! now i do not speak for or against wht they do because i dont have a right 2 judge them bc i live in peace unlike them. so the message is idiot GIVE PALESTINIANS JUSTICE AND THEY WILL REWARD U WITH PEACE. BUT DONT EXPECT 2 LIVE PERFECTLY HAPPILY WHILE U KILL PALESTINIAN CHILDREN AND STEAL OUR LAND
@silwadiya14 Bullshit, you demand our capital Jerusalem, that we accept a so-called "right of return", and that we give you high ground perfect for sniping and shelling Israel. We left Gaza alone, they elected Hamas who want to destroy Israel.
The Palestinian Cause is right and most deserving of sympathy and support, but it does not change the reality that Israel will continue to expand, will take over all of Jerusalem, and eventually will destroy the Dome of the Rock and all the Islamic buildings in that vicinity. Even if the Palestinian state is allowed to be born, it will never be independent and will forever be under the foot of Israel. It will not be allowed enough water to prosper, just enough to survive.
"A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds - a silent mournful expanse.... A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action.... We never saw a human being on the whole route.... There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country." (The Innocents Abroad)
good day. I am a Nigerian and I have read over 10 books concerning the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Your fact seems not to hold from what i have read. I don't want to discredit you but make look at your comment critically. There were human beings in Palestine before you occupied. A lot of palestinians clearly remember some of these events. I would like to know how you came about your information in case if i am wrong so I can learn more. Thanks.
Before the modern Jewish return, this is how Mark Twain described the Land of Israel after he visited the Holy Land in 1867: In 1867, Mark Twain visited the Holy Land and described it in the strongest terms possible as a wretched, diseased, impoverished, nearly desolate wasteland - The few spots of greenery, Twain said, "seem mere toy gardens set at wide intervals in the waste of a limitless desolation.... [The land of Israel] sits in sackcloth and ashes."
Indeed, the Arabs have more than 600 times the land that the Jews have. But the implacable Arab goal is to swallow up and destroy the tiny Jewish homeland.
Israel compared to the United States - The pictures, drawn to the same scale, show that Israel, only as large as the state of New Jersey, is a pipsqueak postage stamp of a nation - a tiny Jewish homeland which the Arab Muslim Nazis, who control one-ninth of the land mass on the planet Earth, nevertheless have repeatedly sought to annihilate
The Arabs who lived in the Land of Israel were not "Palestinians" but Arabs - part of a huge Arab people with 22 very large independent nations that control one-ninth of the land mass on the planet Earth.
This small number of nomadic, tribal Arabs who lived in the Holy Land before the modern Jewish return never considered themselves to be a separate people or nation.
Prior to 1870, when Jews started to return to the Holy Land in large numbers, there were fewer than 100,000 Arabs living in what is today the State of Israel - including Yesha (the Hebrew acronym for Judea, Samaria and the Gaza District).
The claim of the Arab Muslim Nazis that they lived in the Holy Land for 2,000 years, until the Jews came, is a lie. Arabs only came to the Land of Israel in large numbers after the Jews returned in the 20th century and started to rebuild the nation, thereby creating economic and employment opportunities for Arab immigrants.
"The wilderness and the parched land will be glad for them, and the desert will rejoice and blossom like the rose." (Isaiah 35:1) - The Zionist chalutzim (pioneers) spent decades - and many died of malaria and other hardships - irrigating Israel's nearly lifeless deserts and draining her malarial coastline
Israel's interior areas were mainly a desert-like wasteland while her coast was a malaria-ridden swamp.
The Zionist chalutzim (pioneers) spent decades working to turn the deserts into gardens, and working to drain the coastal swamps until the Land of Israel became the breathtakingly beautiful, lush, modern nation that it is today.
Jerusalem had a very small population because the Land of Israel as a whole was mostly uninhabited until the Jews started to return in larger numbers in 1870.
Even during this 2,000-year nightmare, there were always some Jews still living in the Land of Israel despite the horrific conditions.
In 1844 - when the Land of Israel was controlled by the Turkish Muslims - the Turkish census counted 7,120 Jews and 5,000 Muslims living in Jerusalem. Thus, Jerusalem was already a Jewish city 160 years ago.
The remnant of Jews who survived the Roman Holocaust were exiled from their land for 2,000 years to the four corners of the earth. Yet neither the Roman Holocaust nor 2,000 years of Crusades, inquisitions, expulsions, blood libels, pogroms and finally the 20th century German Holocaust could break the eternal connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.
No amount of horrific suffering could break the eternal bond between the Jewish people and their Land of Israel - While Jewish babies were slaughtered in the German Holocaust (top row), everyday Hungarians (bottom row) gleefully looted the homes of Hungarian Jews deported to the death camps
So those who call themselves "Palestinians" are using a term that actually means "foreign invaders."
The Roman beasts annihilated over a million Jewish men, women and children in their Satanic effort to ensure that G-d's people would never again be able to return to the Holy Land.
The Romans pillage Jerusalem - A Roman bas-relief, still extant on an ancient building in Rome, shows Roman soldiers robbing the menorah and other sacred objects of the Beit HaMikdash HaSheni (the Second Holy Temple)
The term "Palestina" was invented by the murderous Roman emperor Hadrian. The Romans wanted to rename Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) after the Philistines, the longtime enemy of the Jews. Hadrian believed that by renaming the Jewish homeland after the Jews' archenemy, he would be able to forever break the bond between the Land of Israel and the Jewish people.
One of the biggest and most successful Arab Nazi propaganda lies is the false claim that there is a land called "Palestine" and a people called "Palestinians."
The murderous - and perverted - Roman emperor Hadrian - The right-hand bust is of Antinous, Hadrian's lover boy, whom he deified after his accidental drowning in the Nile

I would rather have Israel on my border that hamas palestinians, and who cah support a people who praise homocide bombers??? Not me, I support Israel.
i have no intention or ability to change those who are ideologically closed & I have wasted enough time here. As long as there is free international press (which israel tries hard to limit) no matter how much one rants and intimidates or bad mouths, the world's perception of Israel wont change without a shift of ground realities. If Israel does not solve its problems, I see a bloodbath coming within the next 10 years, something any conscientious and responsible nation would have avoided. bye
Your analogy is so flawed and you cannot back up anything you say.
All the people on here post facts and history as it is while you're sucked into a reality in which Palestinians are a people oppressed fighting for their freedom. The reality is that the Palestinians already have a state and it's called Jordan (2/3 are "Palestinian"). The Palestinians can choose to live like it's still 1948 and continue this madness or they can move on and make peace with Israel. The ball's on their court.
Before parroting "your analogy is flawed" with half a dozen ids pick up a dictionary and learn the difference between an analogy, argument & fact, that too documented by UN, red cross and other independent international bodies. Why should Jordan take care of Palestinians. Palestinians werent born there or held land there. Its not Jordan who disposessed them, it is not their problem. It is Israelis' & their moral obligation to put and end to one of the most egregious violation of human rights.
@aitanmelman you seem to be arguing that others have colonized and occupied, why cant we. That argument is pathetic at best and being a citizen of a country that has been a colony, it is obscene to the extreme. Besides if you go back so far in history those werent nation states, they were empires and all of them commanded their territories by force. That in no way justifies egregious violation of human rights that happen in Israel of the level that is sickening for the rest of the world.
Dare if i may, my claim is an informed one, most No other modern democratic state have such a regimented system of permits governing movement by Arab population. Even opening businesses is next to impossible now a days. What arab countries may or may not be doing does not make Israel's abuses go away.
If one look back in history there will be no ends of skeletons in ones closet. The issue here is that of the current situation and whether Israel is acting like a modern democratic civil society or not. It does not require a genius to see the answer.
Though not totaly friendly arab-jewish relationship had never been as bad as in Europe. It changed largely as a repurcussion of militant zionism at the hands of Irgun, Palmach etc & instances like Deir Yassin, ratified in Begin's autobio. Neither have the zionists stopped from turning on jews by colluding with the Nazis and sinking ship loads of jewish refugees. I am not a student of history but the numbers i can recall of jewish refugees is less than 1/10th of what you quote
@aitanmelman u swear allegiance to me and i will let you comment here! Yeah what you felt now was exactly what a Palestinian would feel at such a ridiculous proposition. Everyone is a citizen of the country they are born into. In my country (India) Jewish families have existed thousands of years before they even appeared in Europe, without any form of persecution from us. The only persecution has been from European colonizers. Arabs in Israel have always been 2nd class and persecuted citizens
How the hell do you even dare to call the Arabs citizens of Israel 2nd class citizens?
It is only the citizens of Israel -- Arabs and Jews alike -- who enjoy the right to express their views, to criticize their government, to form political parties, to publish private newspapers, to hold free elections. When Arab authorities deny the most basic freedoms to their own people, it is obscene for them to start claiming that Israel is violating the Palestinians' rights.
@asafapple Simply put, no peace deal that deterioates & denigrates the status will get accepted. Ranting, name calling wont help either. I am indian & the conflict does not affect me personally in anyway, my perception is that of a questioning observer & same as the world's perception. That wont change unless ground realities change. Sans the final-solution Israel's policies are no different than 1930sGermany, in terms of financial and civil disenfranchisement. Denial will not make it go away
The current usage of Palestinian, then, does not reflect historical reality but rather political propaganda whose purpose is to obscure historical fact, just as the Romans had attempted to erase the Jewish nation. Once the Arab world painfully realized that it could not defeat Israel militarily, it cast the war against Israel in terms that would appeal to Western idealsas a struggle of national self-determination, an ideal, by the way, alien to Islamic history and ideology.
Now those wretched Palestinian refugees, who are in fact a creation of the Arab states that refused to integrate their brother Arabs into their own nations, became photogenic icons of suffering used to undermine Israels legitimacy in the eyes of Westerners addled by noble-savage multiculturalism and trite Marxist critiques of capitalism and imperialism.
Such historical ignorance crops up everywhere in the thinking of Israels enemies.
Israel is an illegitimate state, even though it was created by the same process that created Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabiathe dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire that followed World War I, and that was ratified by the League of Nations and then the U.N. The 600,000 Palestinian refugees are an intolerable injustice, yet we never hear a word about the 800,000 Jews expelled by Egypt, Iraq, and other Muslim nations after 1948.
Nor are we told why the Palestinian refugees deserve such international concern and outrage as compared, say, to the 1.2 million Greeks whom the Turks expelled from lands that Greeks had inhabited for 2000 years, or to the 12 million Germans kicked out of Eastern Europe after World War II.
So that's like saying "other people have done bad things before so why can't israel?" Also, I doubt the occupiers you mention were enabled by american tax dollars. If they were you of course would be for it then.
Occupation of a homeland is another of Israels crimes, yet no one talks about the Arab occupation of Spain for seven centuries, the occupation of Greece and the Balkans for five centuries, and the continuing Muslim occupation of Asia Minor, Egypt, North Africa, and the eastern Mediterranean littoral, regions that were Greco-Roman, Jewish, and Christian for centuries before they were conquered and occupied by Muslims.
historically Muslims have violated, and continue to violate, every principle by which Israel is deemed an international pariah, yet rarely do we hear anything other than perfunctory denunciation of Islamic bigotry and violence. This double standard, whereby the West and Israel are held accountable to principles that are not applied to Muslims, partly accounts for the moral incoherence of Israels Western critics.
which can be depended upon to provide inflammatory coverage of Palestinian suffering without providing the moral context that identifies who is responsible for that suffering.
This failure of Western moral and historical intelligence represents the greatest danger to Israels survival, and it exposes the fatal weakness of the Westa loss of confidence in the very values and beliefs that have created the ideals, such as freedom and human rights, without which life is intolerable.
spoke to soon about the civil nature of the discussion here, in anycase u represent your ilk. The holocaust & arab-israeli conflict have little to do with palestinians and i never claimed other arab nations to be blameless. Quassam rockets are effective only as a symbolism. In the last 20 years the number of people who have died is less than 10. More have been died due to unchecked, unprovoked arbitrary firing by IDF on homes.
Hence to Israels critics, the inadvertent deaths of non-combatants resulting from Israels attempts to defend its citizens are condemned more vehemently and obsessively than the deliberate murder of women and children by the Arab jihadists. These terrorists, moreover, use their own people as expendable propaganda assets precisely because they have taken the measure of the Western media,
@aitanmelman Intent can be spun around by propagandists, death count cannot to that extent. Number of Palestinian civilians killed by IDF stand at over ~5000, + ~1000 in the recent Gaza conflict. Number of Israeli civilians killed in 2nd intifada ~1000. This is not counting counts of similar magnitude killed by malnutrition, and denial of access to medicine by Israelis. Enough said
Had there been no Arab aggression, no war, and no invasion by Arab armies whose intent was overtly genocidal, not only would there have been no Arab refugees, but there would have been a state of Palestine in the West Bank and Gaza since 1948.
In the war, Israel acquired additional land. In the absence of a peace treaty between belligerents, the law of nations allows the annexation of an aggressors land after a conflict -
Zionist literature shows no intent on their part to live peacefully with the native populace and they made no secret out of it. "There can be only one national home in palestine and that a jewish one and no equality in the partnership between Jews and arabs, but a jewish preponderance as soon as the numbers of the race are sufficiently increased" -- Dr Eder, member of Zionist Comission in the Court of Inquiry.
@sasabe "Are they ready for independence ?" reeks of the typical pov that was used to deny independence to my country. The 90% figure u mention is a sleight of hand. much of that land was to be controlled by privilleged roadways, militarized roadblocks and hilltop settlements and no right over natural resources. In effect no right on their own land that they were being 'given'. No one would agree to a lose-lose proposition that required them to give up their legit demands. As simple as that
Want to see something worst than Israel, the United, States, and Nazi Germany???
Just search the Palestinian Micky Mouse and how powerful the message to Palestinian children is for them to "Free their land". Just warms up the heart to see that kind of "education" is being taught in Palestinian schools.
I'm sure the footage you see (that is being shown on Palestinian Television!) will make you even more proud of your ignorant stance towards Israel.
- although the land in question belonged to the Turks and then the World War I victors. Israel actually offered to return land it had acquired while defending itself against the Arab aggression in exchange for a formal peace. It made this offer during the Rhodes Armistice talks and Lausanne conference in 1949. The Arab rulers refused the land because they wanted to maintain a state of war in order to destroy the Jewish state.
Had Israels offer been accepted, there could have been prompt and just resolution to all the problems that have afflicted the region since. The only problem that wouldnt have been resolved to the satisfaction of the Arabs was their desire to obliterate the state of Israel.
After [its] victory, Israel passed a law that allowed Arab refugees to re-settle in Israel provided they would sign a form in which they renounced violence, swore allegiance to
the state of Israel, and became peaceful, productive citizens. During the decades of this laws tenure, more than 150,000 Arab refugees have taken advantage of it to resume productive lives in Israel. Jews do not have a similar option to become citizens of Arab states from which they are banned.
Its not a question of a few 'bad Israelis" It has been a consistent policy to disenfranchise the native population by force. The occupation is at the very basis of Israel's economy. It creates artificially low land prices through taxbreaks on settlement land(a majority of which is stolen). Boosts demand for construction. The ghettoization reduces operational cost on the govt's part and on the otherhand creates easily exploitable almost zero cost slave labour that is utilized freely.
You know when Palestinians will get their land back asshole???
When all the African refugees who were ravaged off their lands by Muslims get their land back. When the 1 million Jews who were also ravaged and persecuted through out the Arab world prior to 1948 get their land back.
Palestinians will get land when they love their children more than they love killing Israelis and Jews!
have to say that this has been a rare forum where people, though blinded, have been largely civil to eachother. i am surprised that the anti-semite label hasnt been used yet. Also i will not like to paint IDF exclusively as evil. Many are soldiers traumatized by what they do, and just hang in there till their term to find a personally easy way out. Once in a while some soldier at the checkpoints do occaisonally show signs of human nature, but rarely, very rarely.
You cannot have this lip service of "negotiating process" within the backdrop of continuous expansion of settlements, regular and vicious acts of violence and land theft by the settlers fully abetted by the administration. The so called periods of calm always meant palestinian casualties and huge industrial house expansion of settlements, pushing them out of their livelihoods, farms, access to school s & hospitals. If this is what non-violence is returned by, only violence will get encouraged
Camp David offered a miniscule fraction of the land, and even that would be criss crossed by roads that palestinians will have no right to travel. no access to any natural resources, water, or airspace or self defence. Dotted with hostile illegal settlemements with govt road and electricity and settlers practically above the law, because palestinians do not have recourse to civil law, only military courts. Peace is not the same as death in a prison. It was just another PR campaign.
what you say is untrue. and do you think it will be wise to give ultimate independence without them proving readiness? they got at least 90% plus east jerusalem which today i doubt they'll get. this planned to be executed in stages, with the last stage they will have airspace etc... and anyhow, camp david was a negotiating process, so why they chose to start this stupid intifada that only brought on them more suffer?
You imply that because this is what Palestinians feel, that makes that argument somehow an irrefutable demand. But this is a criticism of Palestinians as a whole, not the Israeli leadership for offering a peace deal - any peace deal is preferable to current condition of state-less constant war, death, and rule by terrorist organizations.
You blindly blame Israel for the Palestinians situation without even glancing one look at their leadership or the Arab world.
Not from CAMERA definitely :). About proof, if one chooses to be ideologically blinded i cannot make them see, and neither it is my job to coach you son. I am Indian happen to read varied sources and trust a few personal friends who have been international observers there. BTW india was also among the countries that voted against the formation of Israel, because having a particular religion does not entitle one to be occupiers and colonizers, or shoot 10 yr old school girls point blank 13 times
Yeah right, Israel is a modern democratic state. Just the only one with roads where you have to be a jew to use it. The only modern state that has a violent occupation, one that creates a wall in someone else's land. Only govt that builds illegal roads into illegal settlements & regularly demolishes palestinian homes under the ruse of not renewing permits . regularly demoslishes their means of livelihood . Only govt that doesnt allow native borns to visit their city, let alone open a business.
Palestinians are a victim of their on leadership and people. Not a victim of Israel.
Prior to 1948 over a million Jews were also kicked off their lands and persecuted through out the Arab World. Do we see them cry today over that land?
Why do Palestinians have to brainwash their children with anti-Jewish propaganda if their "fight" is "justified".
If there is a moral failing on Israel's part, it consists of its reluctance to take stronger military measures.
Those Arabs who abandoned their land in order to join the military crusade against Israel forfeited all right to their property. And if there are any peaceful Arabs who were forcibly evicted from their property, they may press their claims in the courts of Israel, which, unlike the Arab autocracies, has an independent, objective judiciary -- a judiciary that recognizes the principle of property rights.
IDF themselves have used human shields. Anyways no where except in USA would one be arguing for Israel. Rest of the world knows better. By the numbers Israel has killed more civillians than Palestinians have, but they cover it with the rhetoric of collateral damage. Peace by Palestinians have always correlated with more settlements and bloody violence by the settlers on the innocent Palestinians.
Show me the proof for that buddy. Where are you getting your information from? Give me proof.
Of course Israel has made mistakes and there are bad Israelis who have done bad things - likewise with the Palestinians.
Arab leaders would not even negotiate with Israel for peace and lets not forget in 2000 when Arafat walked out of the irrefutable offer in Camp David.
Israel is a modern-democratic State and today in the courts of Israel Arabs "Who were kicked off their land" can claim their land back in the courts justice system in Israel.
What happened happened. There are bad people on both sides just like there are bad people everywhere. The point is what do we do now? Israel has proven through out history that they are more than willing to make peace. Wars was was they offered in return.

Please don't feed the trools / Ziobots, asafapple and dzhiberish. They have nothing to add to the discussion. They are only regurgitating talking points and red herrings and all kinds of debating fallacies in order to obfuscate and clutter rather than advance the discussion, because they know deep down that in a fair argument, they would lose.
To call the militant Palestinians "freedom fighters" -- when they support the subjugation of their own people, when they deliberately murder children in the streets or gleefully praise such depravity -- is a mind-numbing perversion.
When Arab authorities deny the most basic freedoms to their own people, it is obscene for them to start claiming that Israel is violating the Palestinians' rights.
kbernstar it is cause of ignorant people like you who are jsut looking for a cause and a chance to shout slogans that this conflict is still ongoing, instead of people seeing it for what it is.
Can you honestly justify the Arab world's actions in the last 60 years towards Israel??? Where do you see a Jew blow up in a German restaurant? Where do you see a native American blow up in an American mall? Where do you see any person on earth as a result of borders being changed (which has been done through out history everywhere).
Your confusion is that you think the Arab world started this war over "Palestine".
I would be more sympathetic to the isreali perspectiv if it wasent for the fact that they where screaming "leibens raum" at the top of there voices bulldozing civilians houses or building gettos.
This conflict is upsetting would peace and the isrealies clearly have no intrest in pease talks.
Sometimes i think the most reasonable thing would be to simbly burn the "holy lands" from the map and be done with it. (this stupid conflict is only inflaming and destabalizing the world!)
When you say Israelis are not interested in Peace are you comparing that in contrast to the Palestinians who are dying for peace? Ha ha right. Israel has tried to form several peace plans through out the years (they succeeded with Egypt and Jordan!) one peace plan in 2000 in camp David where Arafat walked out of an irrefutable offer for the Palestinians! Their leaders care more about the destruction of Israel than they do about their own people.
so your saying the Israeli army deliberately shot the red cross civilians and hotels housing media representatives?why?what can it possibly gain from it..
except fools like you shouting propaganda of the extreme left.
It ironic that after being fennced into gettos and forced from there homes and systematical exterminated the jews would be doing the exact same thing to another people.
the use of white fosfor agains humans is banned by international law!
and btw Dzhibrish.. where there the red cross?...
I belive you the isrealies actualy bombed there headquarters with that white fosfor of theres.
Who are you to talk about breaking international law and blame Israel?
Hammas has no case in the eye of international law! Israel does! A country's first duty is to defend its citizens. It's called self defense. Hamas is an organization intent on the destruction of Israel and the Jews in Israel as part of its covenant.
Surely killing civilians is against international law, and you might say that targeting populated areas where you know civilians are going to die is against international law.
HOWEVER, even if you target your action at military sites civilians are inevitably going to get killed. It needs to be contrasted with the actions of Hamas when every single rocket is designed to attack civilian populations. So every single act of Hamas in firing these rockets is clearly an illegal act without any legal justification.
To call the militant Palestinians "freedom fighters" -- when they support the subjugation of their own people, when they deliberately murder children in the streets or gleefully praise such depravity -- is a mind-numbing perversion. Palestinian textbooks are filled with vile, anti-Jewish propaganda, such as this exhortation from a fifth-grade Arabic language text: "Remember: the final and inevitable result will be the victory of the Muslims over the Jews."
The Palestinians want a state, not to secure their freedom, but to perpetuate the dictatorial reign of Hammas' Palestinian Authority. Hammas' "police" brutally expropriate property and silence opposing viewpoints by shutting down radio and TV stations. They systematically arrest, torture and murder peaceful dissenters.
Where is the red cross when pals are shooting rockets at Israeli settlements?where are they and why aren't they asking to see the captive Israeli soldier?
Israel's army has had errors and Israel has also had mistakes that killed innocent lives just like any country and just like anywhere. That's not the point here. The Arab world started this war against the Israel in 1948 and hasn't stopped since. What do you expect Israel to do??? They are surrounded by enemies who live for their destruction and won't negotiate for peace. Expecting Israel to not take action is like expecting a person not to take action when lunatic runs at him with a knife.
the presenter in this video said that ISrael broke the ceasefire with Hamas, Israel provoked the rocket fire and subsequently used it as an excuse to go on a killing spree.ISRAEL IS A ROUGE STATE.
It was not Gandhi who made the England give freedom to people of India. It was circumstances in which England had to free almost all colonies after the WW2 because they were so weak to control.
Also there were many armed (Bhagat Singh, Surya Sen, Allama Mashriqi) struggles were going on against England along side the non-violent movements.
To clear things, I am not against Gandhi rather I am a fan of him. Just want to let people think of the context in which the oppressed people are into.
the arab league of 22 nations had offered to recognize Israel. the only condition that they stipulated was that Israel end the occupation...and do you know what the Israeli govt did? they completely ignored it. the fact is that Israel does not want to give Palestinians their right to exist. Israel wants to make lives so difficult for palestinians that eventually they are forced to leave....a form of ethnic cleansing.
The "occupation" began in 1967 and Israel was created in 1948. Why did 7 Arab countries attack Israel in 1948??? Why didn't those Arab countries attack Jordan and Egypt since they illegally occupied the West Bank and the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967. Palestinians are the only refugees living under their own leadership. The Arab league never once recognized Israel's right to exist. We saw that with the 5 wars in the last 60 years against the small Jewish nation.
She illustrates well the moral bankruptcy of her arguments when she claims that Arafat would have been assassinated for signing an inadequate peace agreement. She implies that because this is what Palestinians feel, that makes that argument somehow an irrefutable demand. But this is a criticism of Palestinians as a whole, not the Israeli leadership for offering a peace deal - any peace deal is preferable to current condition of state-less constant war, death, and rule by terrorist organizations.
...and why not talk about the US funding of israeli military occupation of palestinian territories. .the core of the problem is illegal israeli occupation in GAZA and the WEST BANK occupation.if the israeli government had been fair and stuck with the UN partition of 1947, in the first place Hamas would never have been formed.
occupation of what??..before israel was there jordan had control over these territories..these territories belong to nobody..Palestinians have rejected a state tons of times.
these territories belong to Palestine as determined by of the UN partition of 1947(resolution 181). When Jordan occupied the West Bank it was not recognised by the international community and they eventually withdrew.
i like how she talks about a show of good faith from the israelis...
Didnt they show good faith by completely evacuating any jewish settlments and military bases from the gaza strip??
what did they get in return for this show of good faith!!!8 years of rocket fire from the gaza strip...ive me a break..the problem lies in religious extremists funding religious zealousy in gaza and the west bank and funding militant organizaions instead of peace loving ones.
If you are going to be ignorant about what Hamas does to it's own citizens its pointless to discuss this topic with you.
xkoonzix: Once again, if Hamas spent less money on weapons and more on resources the situations would not be so dire. That does not excuse Israel's actions, but turning to violence does not solve anything either.
Israel's action should not be rationalized nor excused. No Israeli believes that. They often criticize the government for its actions.
But at least it is defending the jews, christians, muslims, b'hai, mormons, bedouins, ethiopians, iranian jews, druze, and hindu's that reside there MUCH better than any other government would.
if 8,000 rockets were shot at your country within 8 years, what would YOUR government do?
If you and your kids were starving to death and had no water to drink. And your mother was dying because she didnt have access to her medicine WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Muslims, Christians, and many other races that stayed in Israel(peacefully) after 1948 became Israeli citizens(over 120,000 Arabs at the time). One way of looking at undocumented Palestinians is as illegal immigrants that never registered between 1948, were in prison for fighting during the time, or snuck back into the state. While other countries can simply deport those people, no country will take the Palestinians! why? WHY?
The Israeli people and the U.S. Government cares more about the Palestinian people than the other arab nations. Why do you think Jordan and Egypt do not want to take them in?
In 1948 when the various militant groups were fought against and pushed back they did flee to trhe surrounding countries. then they slowly led an uprise within those countries to believing they had to attack Israel out of fear of its expansion. Well, the surrounding countries lost the '67 war and learned their lesson.

Victimizing the Palestinians how beautiful. As if we don't see enough of that side! Show Israel's side of struggle to exist under constant attacks and threats from surrounding Arab countries who sent a clear message since 1948 (with wars against State to prove it) that they will not tolerate a neighboring Jewish State. When the Palestinians love their children more than they love killing Israelis there will be peace. Anyone who blames Israel for this conflict is clearly uneducated.

You want to know the problem??? The PA is the cancer that is killing the Palestinians. Where do all the millions of dollars for Palestinian aid that comes from the UN and countries around the world go to? It goes to their leader's fancy homes, cars, and vacations. Not to mention the brainwashing and child abuse that is taken place under the PA! Teaching your child that their greatest achievement in life is to blow up while killing a Jew is simply great. Poor Palestinians. NOT!

What is Israeli doing idiot??? Please tell me. NOT!
The Palestinians are not understood??!!! Are you kidding me???? It's as if you're comparing the Palestinians to the Native Americans. Let's get something clear. Prior to 1967, who illegally controlled the Gaza Strip and West Bank??? That's right Jordan and Egypt. Now, why didn't we hear a beep about an occupation then or the need for a Palestinian State? Only after Israel occupied suddenly there's an "occupation".
dude shut up, i check it out and their was an agreement after their first war against isreal. it ended by the six day war. signing an agreement is states that yes we control this piece of land till something happens.. don't say the capture is illegal and complain that we illegally gain control of iraq for false reports.
Ha ha really you checked? It ended by 1967? Then go read about the 1973 Yom Kippur War idiot! Go read about Israel's peace plans and how PA leaders refused each time to negotiate and come to an agreement. Go read about Israel returning the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for Peace and How Israel made peace with Jordan. Israel has been a Peace yearning State since day one. A country who contributed so much to science and development through out the world.
You're hilarious. You accuse the Palestinian Authority for turning down the agreements.
Of course they do. The agreement would have legally allowed Israel to take over 50% of land that Palestinians lived on because the British withdrew when Israeli terrorists killed 100 civilians.
I wouldn't agree to give up my home either. Would you?
Yes I'm sure the 1 million Jews who were kicked off and persecuted through out the Arab world prior to the creation of Israel also didn't want to give up their lands and home either.
Go read about the Camp David Summit Idiot! A peace plan formed in 2000 in which the Palestinians received an irrefutable offer to gain full control of the Gaza strip and 94% of the West Bank (in which Israel will pull continue to withdraw until the terror is indeed stopped in the region! Arafat walked out.
Every single concession in the agreement that Arafat walked away from came from the Palestinian side. Israel made no concessions in the agreement yet Arafat was blamed? Are you kidding me?
Why wouldn't the Arabs persecute the Jews prior to the formation of Israel? The Jewish refugees built settlements on Arab land without permission.
Why don't YOU read about the Camp David Summit? Actually read instead of believing the media garbage.
Claiming this conflict is about land is simply ignorant! Prior to 1967 who controlled the West bank and the Gaza strip???! That's right Jordan and Egypt! Did we hear anything about an occupation then?? Did we hear anything about a yearning for a Palestinian state then?? No! Jordan is also part of "Palestine" so is that stolen land as well that should be returned to the Palestinians? In fact the majority of Jordan are Palestinians!
You're talking out of your ass. The Palestinians lived in the same conditions under Egyptian and Jordanian control - in refugee camps under their own people who don't give a shit about them.
calling Israel's retaliation to a never ending war set upon it by its surrounding Arab countries and terrorist groups "assassinating women and children" is so ignorant! It completely over-looks and justifies the right for Palestinians to blow up cowardly amongst innocent Israelis.
Comparing an Israeli soldier who has no choice but to serve and defend his country to a brainwashed Palestinian terrorist is simply unbelievable.
If you think what "Israel is doing to Palestinian women and children" is bad I wonder what you think of what the Palestinians are doing to their women and children.
No choice but to serve and defend? From what? Three year old infants?
The Palestinian terror organizations are not "doing" anything to their women and children. You put people in a desperate and desolate situation and they will act take desperate measures if they believe it will help them break free.
It is more logical to compare Palestinian terrorists to the Jews at Nazi labor camps that helped and sided with the Nazis for self preservation.

[The land of Israel] sits in sackcloth and ashes."
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Indeed, the Arabs have more than 600 times the land that the Jews have. But the implacable Arab goal is to swallow up and destroy the tiny Jewish homeland.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Israel compared to the United States - The pictures, drawn to the same scale, show that Israel, only as large as the state of New Jersey, is a pipsqueak postage stamp of a nation - a tiny Jewish homeland which the Arab Muslim Nazis, who control one-ninth of the land mass on the planet Earth, nevertheless have repeatedly sought to annihilate
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
The Arabs who lived in the Land of Israel were not "Palestinians" but Arabs - part of a huge Arab people with 22 very large independent nations that control one-ninth of the land mass on the planet Earth.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
This small number of nomadic, tribal Arabs who lived in the Holy Land before the modern Jewish return never considered themselves to be a separate people or nation.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Prior to 1870, when Jews started to return to the Holy Land in large numbers, there were fewer than 100,000 Arabs living in what is today the State of Israel - including Yesha (the Hebrew acronym for Judea, Samaria and the Gaza District).
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
The claim of the Arab Muslim Nazis that they lived in the Holy Land for 2,000 years, until the Jews came, is a lie. Arabs only came to the Land of Israel in large numbers after the Jews returned in the 20th century and started to rebuild the nation, thereby creating economic and employment opportunities for Arab immigrants.

"The wilderness and the parched land will be glad for them, and the desert will rejoice and blossom like the rose." (Isaiah 35:1) - The Zionist chalutzim (pioneers) spent decades - and many died of malaria and other hardships - irrigating Israel's nearly lifeless deserts and draining her malarial coastline
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Israel's interior areas were mainly a desert-like wasteland while her coast was a malaria-ridden swamp.
The Zionist chalutzim (pioneers) spent decades working to turn the deserts into gardens, and working to drain the coastal swamps until the Land of Israel became the breathtakingly beautiful, lush, modern nation that it is today.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Jerusalem had a very small population because the Land of Israel as a whole was mostly uninhabited until the Jews started to return in larger numbers in 1870.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Jerusalem was already a Jewish city in the 19th century - A Turkish soldier and Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem
Take note of how few people lived in Jerusalem in 1844 - even though Jerusalem was by far the largest town in the Land of Israel!
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
Jerusalem in the 19th century
Even during this 2,000-year nightmare, there were always some Jews still living in the Land of Israel despite the horrific conditions.
In 1844 - when the Land of Israel was controlled by the Turkish Muslims - the Turkish census counted 7,120 Jews and 5,000 Muslims living in Jerusalem. Thus, Jerusalem was already a Jewish city 160 years ago.

The remnant of Jews who survived the Roman Holocaust were exiled from their land for 2,000 years to the four corners of the earth. Yet neither the Roman Holocaust nor 2,000 years of Crusades, inquisitions, expulsions, blood libels, pogroms and finally the 20th century German Holocaust could break the eternal connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
No amount of horrific suffering could break the eternal bond between the Jewish people and their Land of Israel - While Jewish babies were slaughtered in the German Holocaust (top row), everyday Hungarians (bottom row) gleefully looted the homes of Hungarian Jews deported to the death camps
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
So those who call themselves "Palestinians" are using a term that actually means "foreign invaders."
The Roman beasts annihilated over a million Jewish men, women and children in their Satanic effort to ensure that G-d's people would never again be able to return to the Holy Land.
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
But even the name of the Philistines, from which the term "Palestine" was adopted, is completely alien to the Land of Israel.
The name Philistines in Hebrew is plishtim, which comes from the Hebrew verb polshim (foreign invaders).

The Romans pillage Jerusalem - A Roman bas-relief, still extant on an ancient building in Rome, shows Roman soldiers robbing the menorah and other sacred objects of the Beit HaMikdash HaSheni (the Second Holy Temple)
rokyroyal123 2 years ago
The term "Palestina" was invented by the murderous Roman emperor Hadrian. The Romans wanted to rename Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) after the Philistines, the longtime enemy of the Jews. Hadrian believed that by renaming the Jewish homeland after the Jews' archenemy, he would be able to forever break the bond between the Land of Israel and the Jewish people.

The ball's on their court.
asafapple 2 years ago
Before parroting "your analogy is flawed" with half a dozen ids pick up a dictionary and learn the difference between an analogy, argument & fact, that too documented by UN, red cross and other independent international bodies. Why should Jordan take care of Palestinians. Palestinians werent born there or held land there. Its not Jordan who disposessed them, it is not their problem. It is Israelis' & their moral obligation to put and end to one of the most egregious violation of human rights.
sreangsu 2 years ago
@aitanmelman you seem to be arguing that others have colonized and occupied, why cant we. That argument is pathetic at best and being a citizen of a country that has been a colony, it is obscene to the extreme. Besides if you go back so far in history those werent nation states, they were empires and all of them commanded their territories by force. That in no way justifies egregious violation of human rights that happen in Israel of the level that is sickening for the rest of the world.
sreangsu 2 years ago
Dare if i may, my claim is an informed one, most No other modern democratic state have such a regimented system of permits governing movement by Arab population. I am not a student of history but the numbers i can recall of jewish refugees is less than 1/10th of what you quote
sreangsu 2 years ago
@aitanmelman u swear allegiance to me and i will let you comment here! Yeah what you felt now was exactly what a Palestinian would feel at such a ridiculous proposition. Everyone is a citizen of the country they are born into. In my country (India) Jewish families have existed thousands of years before they even appeared in Europe, without any form of persecution from us. The only persecution has been from European colonizers. Arabs in Israel have always been 2nd class and persecuted citizens
sreangsu 2 years ago 2
How the hell do you even dare to call the Arabs citizens of Israel 2nd class citizens?
It is only the citizens of Israel -- Arabs and Jews alike -- who enjoy the right to express their views, to criticize their government, to form political parties, to publish private newspapers, to hold free elections. When Arab authorities deny the most basic freedoms to their own people, it is obscene for them to start claiming that Israel is violating the Palestinians' rights.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
@asafapple Simply put, no peace deal that deterioates & denigrates the status will get accepted. Ranting, name calling wont help either. I am indian & the conflict does not affect me personally in anyway, my perception is that of a questioning observer & same as the world's perception. That wont change unless ground realities change. Sans the final-solution Israel's policies are no different than 1930sGermany, in terms of financial and civil disenfranchisement. Denial will not make it go away
sreangsu 2 years ago 2
The current usage of Palestinian, then, does not reflect historical reality but rather political propaganda whose purpose is to obscure historical fact, just as the Romans had attempted to erase the Jewish nation. Once the Arab world painfully realized that it could not defeat Israel militarily, it cast the war against Israel in terms that would appeal to Western idealsas a struggle of national self-determination, an ideal, by the way, alien to Islamic history and ideology.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
Now those wretched Palestinian refugees, who are in fact a creation of the Arab states that refused to integrate their brother Arabs into their own nations, became photogenic icons of suffering used to undermine Israels legitimacy in the eyes of Westerners addled by noble-savage multiculturalism and trite Marxist critiques of capitalism and imperialism.
Such historical ignorance crops up everywhere in the thinking of Israels enemies.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
Israel is an illegitimate state, even though it was created by the same process that created Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabiathe dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire that followed World War I, and that was ratified by the League of Nations and then the U.N. The 600,000 Palestinian refugees are an intolerable injustice, yet we never hear a word about the 800,000 Jews expelled by Egypt, Iraq, and other Muslim nations after 1948.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
Nor are we told why the Palestinian refugees deserve such international concern and outrage as compared, say, to the 1.2 million Greeks whom the Turks expelled from lands that Greeks had inhabited for 2000 years, or to the 12 million Germans kicked out of Eastern Europe after World War II.

Occupation of a homeland is another of Israels crimes, yet no one talks about the Arab occupation of Spain for seven centuries, the occupation of Greece and the Balkans for five centuries, and the continuing Muslim occupation of Asia Minor, Egypt, North Africa, and the eastern Mediterranean littoral, regions that were Greco-Roman, Jewish, and Christian for centuries before they were conquered and occupied by Muslims.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
historically Muslims have violated, and continue to violate, every principle by which Israel is deemed an international pariah, yet rarely do we hear anything other than perfunctory denunciation of Islamic bigotry and violence. This double standard, whereby the West and Israel are held accountable to principles that are not applied to Muslims, partly accounts for the moral incoherence of Israels Western critics.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
which can be depended upon to provide inflammatory coverage of Palestinian suffering without providing the moral context that identifies who is responsible for that suffering.
This failure of Western moral and historical intelligence represents the greatest danger to Israels survival, and it exposes the fatal weakness of the Westa loss of confidence in the very values and beliefs that have created the ideals, such as freedom and human rights, without which life is intolerable.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
spoke to soon about the civil nature of the discussion here, in anycase u represent your ilk. The holocaust & arab-israeli conflict have little to do with palestinians and i never claimed other arab nations to be blameless. Quassam rockets are effective only as a symbolism. In the last 20 years the number of people who have died is less than 10. More have been died due to unchecked, unprovoked arbitrary firing by IDF on homes.
sreangsu 2 years ago
Hence to Israels critics, the inadvertent deaths of non-combatants resulting from Israels attempts to defend its citizens are condemned more vehemently and obsessively than the deliberate murder of women and children by the Arab jihadists. These terrorists, moreover, use their own people as expendable propaganda assets precisely because they have taken the measure of the Western media,
aitanmelman 2 years ago
@aitanmelman Intent can be spun around by propagandists, death count cannot to that extent. Number of Palestinian civilians killed by IDF stand at over ~5000, + ~1000 in the recent Gaza conflict. Number of Israeli civilians killed in 2nd intifada ~1000. This is not counting counts of similar magnitude killed by malnutrition, and denial of access to medicine by Israelis. Enough said
sreangsu 2 years ago
Had there been no Arab aggression, no war, and no invasion by Arab armies whose intent was overtly genocidal, not only would there have been no Arab refugees, but there would have been a state of Palestine in the West Bank and Gaza since 1948.
In the war, Israel acquired additional land. In the absence of a peace treaty between belligerents, the law of nations allows the annexation of an aggressors land after a conflict -
aitanmelman 2 years ago
Zionist literature shows no intent on their part to live peacefully with the native populace and they made no secret out of it.

- although the land in question belonged to the Turks and then the World War I victors. Israel actually offered to return land it had acquired while defending itself against the Arab aggression in exchange for a formal peace. It made this offer during the Rhodes Armistice talks and Lausanne conference in 1949. The Arab rulers refused the land because they wanted to maintain a state of war in order to destroy the Jewish state.
aitanmelman 2 years ago
Had Israels offer been accepted, there could have been prompt and just resolution to all the problems that have afflicted the region since. The only problem that wouldnt have been resolved to the satisfaction of the Arabs was their desire to obliterate the state of Israel.
After [its] victory, Israel passed a law that allowed Arab refugees to re-settle in Israel provided they would sign a form in which they renounced violence, swore allegiance to

The ghettoization reduces operational cost on the govt's part and on the otherhand creates easily exploitable almost zero cost slave labour that is utilized freely.

have to say that this has been a rare forum where people, though blinded, have been largely civil to eachother. i am surprised that the anti-semite label hasnt been used yet.

If this is what non-violence is returned by, only violence will get encouraged
sreangsu 2 years ago
Who are you to blame Israel idiot! Israel has faced 5 wars in the last 60 years against its Arab neighbors and won!
Prior to 1967 who do you think illegally controlled the West Bank and the Gaza Strip??!! That's right. Jordan and Egypt! Illegally!
Palestinians are the only people in history living in refugee camps under their own leadership.
If Hammas cared about self preservation they would not shoot the rockets from civilian populated areas such as schools and hospitals!

It was just another PR campaign.
sreangsu 2 years ago
what you say is untrue. and do you think it will be wise to give ultimate independence without them proving readiness? they got at least 90% plus east jerusalem which today i doubt they'll get. this planned to be executed in stages, with the last stage they will have airspace etc... and anyhow, camp david was a negotiating process, so why they chose to start this stupid intifada that only brought on them more suffer?
i know the answer, do you?
sasabe121 2 years ago
You imply that because this is what Palestinians feel, that makes that argument somehow an irrefutable demand. But this is a criticism of Palestinians as a whole, not the Israeli leadership for offering a peace deal - any peace deal is preferable to current condition of state-less constant war, death, and rule by terrorist organizations.
You blindly blame Israel for the Palestinians situation without even glancing one look at their leadership or the Arab world.

If there is a moral failing on Israel's part, it consists of its reluctance to take stronger military measures.
asafapple 2 years ago

Peace by Palestinians have always correlated with more settlements and bloody violence by the settlers on the innocent Palestinians.
sreangsu 2 years ago
"IDF themselves have used human shields"
Show me the proof for that buddy. Where are you getting your information from? Give me proof.
Of course Israel has made mistakes and there are bad Israelis who have done bad things - likewise with the Palestinians.
Arab leaders would not even negotiate with Israel for peace and lets not forget in 2000 when Arafat walked out of the irrefutable offer in Camp David.
Your analogy is flawed.
asafapple 2 years ago 2
Kberstar,
Your analogy is flawed.

Bring on the argument bitch.

Who are you to talk about breaking international law and blame Israel?
Hammas has no case in the eye of international law! Israel does! A country's first duty is to defend its citizens. It's called self defense. Hamas is an organization intent on the destruction of Israel and the Jews in Israel as part of its covenant.
Surely killing civilians is against international law, and you might say that targeting populated areas where you know civilians are going to die is against international law.
asafapple 2 years ago
HOWEVER, even if you target your action at military sites civilians are inevitably going to get killed. It needs to be contrasted with the actions of Hamas when every single rocket is designed to attack civilian populations. So every single act of Hamas in firing these rockets is clearly an illegal act without any legal justification.
asafapple 2 years ago
To call the militant Palestinians "freedom fighters" -- when they support the subjugation of their own people, when they deliberately murder children in the streets or gleefully praise such depravity -- is a mind-numbing perversion. Palestinian textbooks are filled with vile, anti-Jewish propaganda, such as this exhortation from a fifth-grade Arabic language text: "Remember: the final and inevitable result will be the victory of the Muslims over the Jews."
asafapple 2 years ago
The Palestinians want a state, not to secure their freedom, but to perpetuate the dictatorial reign of Hammas' Palestinian Authority. Hammas' "police" brutally expropriate property and silence opposing viewpoints by shutting down radio and TV stations. They systematically arrest, torture and murder peaceful dissenters.

Israel wants to make lives so difficult for palestinians that eventually they are forced to leave....a form of ethnic cleansing.
exchangemarketor3 2 years ago
Are you kidding me?
The "occupation" began in 1967 and Israel was created in 1948. Why did 7 Arab countries attack Israel in 1948??? Why didn't those Arab countries attack Jordan and Egypt since they illegally occupied the West Bank and the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967. Palestinians are the only refugees living under their own leadership. The Arab league never once recognized Israel's right to exist. We saw that with the 5 wars in the last 60 years against the small Jewish nation.

the real problem are foreign powers funding militant organizations in gaza and the west bank!!
Why not talk about the muslim brootherhood and iran who is funding hamas?
why not talk about Saudia Arabia who funded fatah!!

All the suffering is a result of militant palestinin organiztions being funded instead of peaceful ones.
dzhibrish 2 years ago 2
...and why not talk about the US funding of israeli military occupation of palestinian territories. .the core of the problem is illegal israeli occupation in GAZA and the WEST BANK occupation.if the israeli government had been fair and stuck with the UN partition of 1947, in the first place Hamas would never have been formed.
exchangemarketor3 2 years ago
occupation of what??..before israel was there jordan had control over these territories..these territories belong to nobody..Palestinians have rejected a state tons of times.
dzhibrish 2 years ago
these territories belong to Palestine as determined by of the UN partition of 1947(resolution 181). When Jordan occupied the West Bank it was not recognised by the international community and they eventually withdrew.
exchangemarketor3 2 years ago
i like how she talks about a show of good faith from the israelis...

Palestinian Terrorism is in no ways about self preservation.
your analogy is flawed.
Every time a Palestinian shoots a rocket at Israel, the need for the state to defend itself becomes more important.
If they cared about self preservation they would not shoot the rockets from civilian populated ares, on top of schools, and on top of hospitals.

While other countries can simply deport those people, no country will take the Palestinians! why? WHY?
Klover44 2 years ago

Only after Israel occupied suddenly there's an "occupation".
asafapple 2 years ago
dude shut up, i check it out and their was an agreement after their first war against isreal. it ended by the six day war. signing an agreement is states that yes we control this piece of land till something happens.. don't say the capture is illegal and complain that we illegally gain control of iraq for false reports.
Turrick16 2 years ago
Ha ha really you checked? It ended by 1967? Then go read about the 1973 Yom Kippur War idiot! Go read about Israel's peace plans and how PA leaders refused each time to negotiate and come to an agreement. Go read about Israel returning the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for Peace and How Israel made peace with Jordan. Israel has been a Peace yearning State since day one. A country who contributed so much to science and development through out the world.
asafapple 2 years ago
You're hilarious. You accuse the Palestinian Authority for turning down the agreements.
Of course they do. The agreement would have legally allowed Israel to take over 50% of land that Palestinians lived on because the British withdrew when Israeli terrorists killed 100 civilians.
I wouldn't agree to give up my home either. Would you?
Why don't you learn the history.
kbernstar 2 years ago
Yes I'm sure the 1 million Jews who were kicked off and persecuted through out the Arab world prior to the creation of Israel also didn't want to give up their lands and home either.
Go read about the Camp David Summit Idiot! A peace plan formed in 2000 in which the Palestinians received an irrefutable offer to gain full control of the Gaza strip and 94% of the West Bank (in which Israel will pull continue to withdraw until the terror is indeed stopped in the region! Arafat walked out.
asafapple 2 years ago 4

In fact the majority of Jordan are Palestinians!
asafapple 2 years ago
Except the occupation by Jordan/Egypt prior to 1967 didn't involve assassinating women and children like Israel does now.
kbernstar 2 years ago
You're talking out of your ass. The Palestinians lived in the same conditions under Egyptian and Jordanian control - in refugee camps under their own people who don't give a shit about them.
calling Israel's retaliation to a never ending war set upon it by its surrounding Arab countries and terrorist groups "assassinating women and children" is so ignorant! It completely over-looks and justifies the right for Palestinians to blow up cowardly amongst innocent Israelis.
asafapple 2 years ago
Comparing an Israeli soldier who has no choice but to serve and defend his country to a brainwashed Palestinian terrorist is simply unbelievable.
If you think what "Israel is doing to Palestinian women and children" is bad I wonder what you think of what the Palestinians are doing to their women and children.
asafapple 2 years ago
No choice but to serve and defend? From what? Three year old infants?
The Palestinian terror organizations are not "doing" anything to their women and children. You put people in a desperate and desolate situation and they will act take desperate measures if they believe it will help them break free.
It is more logical to compare Palestinian terrorists to the Jews at Nazi labor camps that helped and sided with the Nazis for self preservation.
This has been proven throughout history.
