  • Just normal city streets where i ride. To scared to go onto a highway. good luck.

  • damn that 125 is fast

  • That's excellent! Great job! Thanks for the details on what you've got going on in the engine compartment.

  • por que son tan ruidosas la bws..?

  • Fun

  • Where did you purchase these mods and how much did they cost? Brands? Your top speed?

  • Is that stock ?! If it is, screw a 600.

  • How fast was this going in this video?

  • good bike, I have one in the highway is no so good because the speed is about 95 km only and most of the highway are 100 km, but in town or in the city is perfect.

  • I feel pretty stable on my stock Zuma 125. That is at 55 to 60. I'm not sure I would feel as comfortable on that one going that fast.

The wind gusts from passing trucks must be pretty intense.

Wear your protection gear. I hit the pavement going very fast years ago. Lost lots of skin. Can't describe how much it hurt.

  • Will a normal 125cc be able to hit 55? Sorry if this has been asked already :(

  • i dont know if i should get this ( zuma 125 ) or a gz250 by suzuki or a kawasaki ELIMINATOR® 125

  • A 125 on the interstate is still faster than many heavy trucks like gravel trucks or even school buses that go maybe 50 and slow down on hills. In Texas we have access roads paralleling the interstates, so you can just travel at lower speeds on those. I use my 500 for interstates, my 125 for state roads, and my 50 for city streets always using the minimum horsepower to get the job done. Saves fuel that way too. Nice bike the Zuma with the 4T. I like Aprilia better though.. better price too.

  • damn u got some nerve dude ... good riding

  • Gloves do save fingers. And knuckles. And hands. And the little bones inside them. It is instinctual to try to stop yourself in a crash with your hands. Picture placing your hands on a belt sander going 70+ MPH...

  • @earpig if he doesn't wear gloves, I suppose a helmet is a tall order against a yummy concussion, and forget about a solid Kevlar anything for the road rash.

  • @earpig i haven't started driving a moped yet but i totally agree with you

  • @earpig yeah i dont like the feeling of raw hands. id rather be busted up a little bit than that. i know trust me it feels like shiz, even at 30mph

  • It is mopac in austin, just south of the toll road.

  • the freeway entrance looks so familiar... was this on Mopac in Austin?

  • Ruckus > Zuma

  • @ormand3000 Agreed, Honda needs to come out with a Ruckus 125 in the same frame as the 50. You hearing us Honda???

  • Zumba baby!

  • Balls of STEEL.

  • lol it is illegal and that is the interstate not a highway

  • @homelesswithahouse Not true. All interstates are highways. In fact all public roads are highways. The proper term is interstate highway which simply means it's a hghway that connects to one or more states. This does not look like an interstate to me but even if it is. it is also a highway.

  • earpig 150cc is highway legal in Cali. Some states like Michigan consider 125cc to be highway legal.

  • I believe it is illegal. I know in Cali there are signs posted that anything less than 250cc is not allowed.

  • @earpig you could argue that the scooter alone is 125cc and that you have a 155cc kit on it....125+155=280cc if the cops believe it

  • @ZeroDragondelta9

Just say it real fast and with a total strait face. LOL

  • @earpig 150cc is the limit in cali.

  • @earpig I live in indiana and ive never seen a sign saying that. Here, anything over 50cc can go on the highway as far as i know.

  • @jagmcool Same in NC. Only mopeds are not allowed on Interstates. Anything is allowed on a freeway (one with I at the start) even mopeds.

  • @earpig

    correction... it is 150cc

  • That thing flys! Is it legal on the highway or were you risking getting caught?

  • Yeah I guess 85 mpg does suck ass...

  • The speedo has 70mph max. It tops out at 70 indicated, probably 65-68 gps. It is rev limited @approximately 9300 rpm. I routinely get 100-110 miles per tank or 75-85 mpg, roughly.

  • does the tbr juice box destroy your mpg?

  • i have a zuma 50 2004 all built 72cc bbk geared up clutched and it runs low 70's downhill high 60's on the flats

  • Smooth

  • beautiful machine, how fast was that?? i couldnt see the gauges to good

  • Too bad they don't make a 150cc if this one is too small for freeways. :(

It's sorta like a big boy mini bike..:D Good luck finding a used one cheaper too.

The reviews say to stay away from the chinese brands..even though the prices are half what better brands are.

  • Anybody know the top speed of a normal stock version of this scooter?

  • @johnbambammorgan Top Speed is 55-60 mph with a 200lb rider.

  • dude that would be fucking scary

  • @Speculantscooter AGREED

  • Get Some!!!

  • it goes faster than 35. he's on the interstate, he'll get a ticket if he was going 35mph and the cars would be ZOOMING by him

  • If you're going to be going that fast wear gloves, or be prepared to kiss goodbye to your fingers if you come off the bike.

I live in Japan, scooters like this are incredibly popular. Very economical too. Great way to get around.

  • @SwitchRich

not really economical anymore when you put that much upgrades on it.

  • @SwitchRich Yea because gloves are going to save your fingers? LOL!

  • @Watthiman Actually yeah, motorcycling gloves can and do save fingers all the time, that's why bikers invest good money in them.

  • @SwitchRich The "save" fingers all the time? Sure they save them from the cold, the rain and superficial cuts and scraps but gloves are not going to prevent serious damage to your hands and fingers.

  • @SwitchRich Who cares about your fingers... if you come of at that speed your most likely a gonner anyway.

  • Nice job ive been thinking about getting a scooter but ive been wondering wether it is legal to ride on the freeway. yeah it is scary but scooters are cheap and if its legal then io want to get one and ride it on the freeway to get to work. i dont care. So is it legal in california lets say on a 150? and does it affect the motor harshly?

  • its doesnt affect the motor, but its not legal to ride on the freeway if its under 125cc

  • what is your top speed.... i want one of these...

  • Yo!... Johnny Dangerously...no gloves...Bra!

  • come on people its a a25.. a 150 is better...but gotta give the applauses for this dude...nice bike..big balls

  • wow no gloves??? no jacket??? Are you wearing gear at all?

  • i thnik this guy is wearing his pajamas

  • zuma on the freeway!? AWESOME!

  • Ive taken my 70cc zuma on the highway before. I was a bit scared once I realized what I had done and that there was no turning back. I made it to the next exit.

  • whats your top speed there?

  • you got balls dude, much respect!

  • wat cc is tht?

  • i want those mirrors, where did you pick them up?

  • how fast are you going here

  • it seems to me like a horror video since he was going to the highway. Scared to Death, since I made a mistake once in rome and finished in a highway with a burgman 400cc. Imagine a 125cc ?

  • a 400cc can make highways easy here in the states, hell you could be in the fast lane with a 400cc.

  • what is your current mpg with mods?

  • how were you going man

  • nice im getting on im 15

  • Holy shit! 125 Zuma on the freeway???

    I give you props man!

  • i dont know if i want to be riding my zuma on the highway :-/

  • Nice!

Just a little tip, when you ride a bike on the highway or any heavily traveled road never run in the middle of the lane, that's where all the oil and grease builds up from the cars and trucks, try and stay to the left or right of the lane.

Same rule goes for when you stop at a light don't put your foot down on that greasy center of the lane, LOL it could be embarrassing!

Just a friendly tip! Be safe!

  • is there a surfboard rack made for this zuma?

  • Where are the mod kits sold at? How hard was it to get the ECU recalibrated?

I can't even find a K&N cold air kit for these scoots much less a total weapon package like that!

  • Any transmission mods?

  • It's hard to tell, but is that pinning the speedo? Great mods bro!

  • how fast is the zuma now with 155cc? 65-70 easily?
