I did it!!!!! I sang last Sunday!!! Wow! All Glory and Honor be to God! I felt an overwhelming amount of Joy coming from within me :) I could cry just thinking about it! and from what my pastor said, the church felt the Joy too! Praise God! For 20 years I knew that God has planned a day for me to share what I love to do, and Jan 22 2012 I did it! I also found out that we are pregnant with our 3rd child <3 I'm so in love with God!

Praise Jesus is LORD. I used to be an atheist doing medical research until I cried out to God and He spoke to me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Lord. Please pray I find a new job after my prejudice atheist coworkers fired me for being a christian and after Holy Spirit told me I should have an attitude of Faith at work and no longer need to validate hypothesis or make calibrations. Say that as many times as you have to weather it be twice a day or 100 times a day and it will help you. Keep studying and trying hard and asking God to bring you to you calling and just go with it. people doubt in the goodness of God because they only focus on the bad things in this world. but whatever God brings you to, he will bring you through. it's through unfortunate situations that God's glory may be revealed. (Take the ex. of the blind man, the man with leprosy, etc.) If everyone got everything they wanted in this world, it would be a pretty jacked up place. There would be no need for God... God knows what's best for us, and like a good father, he disciplines the ones he loves.

@ndzoko Because of our sinful nature. It is our decision whether we accept Him or we follow our own path. How can he set your mind if your are not even listening to Him. That is why there always be acceptance first not after. God is not a vending machine where you can go and get whatever you want. As a christian you are still not perfect, you still sin, you still make mistakes, but as a christian you must always repent. Only a christian can be perfect after he goes to heaven.

@ndzoko Yes I have opened a science book my friend. Science is my favorite subject when I was still in high school, from biology to physics. My friend have you ever opened the Bible? Have you ever thought of reading with an open minded. I was born and raised in a Christian family and I heard a lot of the Bible stories and also the Gospel but even though I still didn't care much about the church and Bible at that time. Only now I have truly accepted Jesus in my life.

Was Wonering why god doesnt heal amputees. If he had that planned already and has a reason for making someone an amputee even if they werent born that way. ok try this......... God doesn't have to heal anyone, he already has. The issue is the individual believing and receiving this healing. What has hindered this receiving is bad teaching that has not conditioned people to an expectation of healing.

What I am against, however, is that the Church brainwashes the minds of children, showing them one lifestyle and either they accept it or they are shunned. Most kids only believe in it because it makes them happy, they wouldn't be able to accept an option of no god. And just because it's appealing doesn't mean it's better for them. That's like saying it's better to feed your children candy and not....

I did it!!!!! I sang last Sunday!!! Wow! All Glory and Honor be to God! I felt an overwhelming amount of Joy coming from within me :) I could cry just thinking about it! and from what my pastor said, the church felt the Joy too! Praise God! Praise Jesus is LORD. I used to be an atheist doing medical research until I cried out to God and He spoke to me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Lord. Please pray I find a new job after my prejudice atheist coworkers fired me for being a christian and after Holy Spirit told me I should have an attitude of Faith at work and no longer need to validate hypothesis or make calibrations. people doubt in the goodness of God because they only focus on the bad things in this world. but whatever God brings you to, he will bring you through. it's through unfortunate situations that God's glory may be revealed. That is why there always be acceptance first not after. God is not a vending machine where you can go and get whatever you want. As a christian you are still not perfect, you still sin, you still make mistakes, but as a christian you must always repent. Only a christian can be perfect after he goes to heaven.

Jesus made that prophecy and it is happening today that is why there are many false teachings today that really contradicts the Bible. You will only know the truth through reading the Bible. @ndzoko not everyone understands the bible as is should be understood. so that makes things complicated, unfortunately. the bible does say that there is condemnation in christ, but rather conviction which is totally different. you use the word, "guilt" and that to me says you were first told to fear hell, which is wrong b/c thats not what jesus did at all and he is the son of god. thus, how can any of us say such things? in regards to your comment, where does it say that about salvation?

@DocReasonable. I don't FEEL, I KNOW. When I surrendered to Yahshua the Messiah, all of my feelings, opinions, logic and scientific conjecture got trashed. When I surrendered to Yahshua I know longer had a theory on God or a philosophical position on religion, I had an unshakeable EXPERIENCE.
Whether the news of His LOVE came from a man, woman or even a rock; it made no difference to me.

We are being called out of pointless apologetic arguments and being called into sharing powerful encounters with the very heart and person of Jesus. We are being called out to go and move in His power that flows through His spirit, not our own understanding of science and its application towards scripture. @jonas080981 praise God! Amen! Thank you for reminding me that experiencing Christ rules out all else. This world has a lot to say about Jesus, probably more than the Bible does. But I know Jesus lives because He's the only one who came through for me. Without Christ, I don't know who or where I'd be. But God is mighty to save. He is greater than human "logic", what an insult to try and contain Him in mere words.

@pat5168 Well, considering Jesus said "Whoever is not against you is for you" (Luke 9:50), that doesn't seem so narrow-minded. Not to mention, in Revelation 3:15-16 where it says, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other. So because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit you out of my mouth." I mean, it's pretty blunt, but it's true.

What I am against, however, is that the Church brainwashes the minds of children, showing them one lifestyle and either they accept it or they are shunned. Most kids only believe in it because it makes them happy, they wouldn't be able to accept an option of no god. And just because it's appealing doesn't mean it's better for them. That's like saying it's better to feed your children candy and not....
