Like many, I am deeply inspired by the profound poetry of the great poet Rumi, therefore it is a shame that this speach is not translated into english - the topic being of great interest! Few people on the net have the chance to understand Farsi... Rumi is of great importance to all - especially for those who are not from the Middle-East, for Rumi gives us another perspective of the region, one of great nobility and wisdom, i.e. two qualities not often depicted by international press...

I agree that Rumi's teachings are vital in this world. I will try to find something similar in English, too. It's a shame that more of Dr. Naini's work, which speaks of the real essence of Rumi, is not seen as much on American media as others who do not even know Persian or understand the true cultural & historical background of Rumi.
