And, are the end caps open? In other words, in the next video you say that the water might flow through the pipe to the other container. So does that mean that the end caps are open?

Nice videos! Just a few questions: Could explain the compression fitting a bit more in detail to me? I went to Home Depot and there was only a little brass compression fitting that looks nothing like yours. Is yours just a pvc pipe with the screw-on end caps? Or is there a certain thing i should be looking for? Also, could you give me the measurements of the compression fitting?
