Although she sang it wonderfully, she made a huge mistake picking that song. Myself being a musician, I know the golden rule, you never pick a song THAT universally known just like a marching band wouldn't pick star wars. It's too easy to compare it to the original. You have your SINGERS....and then theres the PROFESSIONAL singers. Unfortunately, her voice wasn't big enough for it. Not to mention, Celine Dion is a very skilled and professional singer.

@someonezmom Sorry. Not even close. Every note Celine Dion sings is crystal clear and rings like a bell. This girl has a nice voice and has some power to it, but it's muddied compared to Dion, Aguilera, Beyonce, and other great divas. Very average quality, which is why she does Broadway, doesn't have albums in the Top 10 and not on tour. Lets be real here.

Despite how the judges critiqued Diana, I admire she took it very mature. Was it my favorite, from her? No. That bad? No. This show is all about politics and the judges had their eyes on who they wanted to win. They knew what they were doing by who and how they compliment and comment.

The problem of this rendition is Diana lacks conviction. I do agree she has some range and she pulled off all the high notes pretty well. But how she interpreted the rest of the song (verse, chorus) is very bland.
