I actually own this copy of xp but I've exceed the number of activations so I have to call them every time I install a new motherboard or video card and it pisses me off. I paid for this dam thing and I shouldn't have to go through their bs to make it work. Thanks for this information.

It's just about obsolete anyway though. I now have a 64 bit system with a 32 bit version of windows. I'll have to upgrade eventually.

The easiest way is if u have ur XP CD put it in and go to the i386 folder and search for a file named unattend open it and scroll to the end there lies the product key.

it works 4 a certain period of time only but eventually they will ask u 2 activate your windows product again and u wont be able 2 do it because it will be written there that u already have activated windows. the only solution that i have found is you can use the system restore 2 restore your computer back 2 before u did what this video told u 2 do and find a product key and type in the product key..
