@lovepikachu12 no if you go to the store they will be in packs all ready to use or if there is a grocery stores that makes sushi you can go up to them and ask to buy some of the seaweed they use for the sushi if their nice they will let you buy some and if you want you can even go as far as to ask for a some of the cooked rice they use for the sushi too...

Jasmine is long grained, hard and not very suitable for onigiri. Most large supermarkets should carry sushi rice or at least some softer short grain rice. Give it a try, whatever you get your hands on, but you won't get that authentic taste without japanese rice.

Yep, you moisten the end of the seaweed with water (not too much! or it'll fall apart...) and it will naturally stick to the other end. :;(^_^);:

Hi! Awesome video :) I want to try to make my own onigiri but I do have two questions: 1) After you rinse the rice are you cooking the rice in the same water or do you switch to new water after the rinse? 2) When you eat the onigiri, is it supposed to eat them warm or cold? I mean the onigiri do get cold under the time you're making them :P Do you have to reheat them or something before you're eating them? :P
