Make up some of your own stuff and record too, easier to find YOUR own voice than play someone elses...I know BARELY ANY songs by other people, but I have hundreds of half finished songs of my own which I really love.

Hey dude...I apologize for that comment...you're right it was pretty harsh. In retrospect, I'm an ass...I suggest you record yourself singing along to the song and fine tune that way...sing from the chest, not the throat too..and when you breathe in don't sing more than the breath can do, just take a breath and just use what you took to push the sound from the diaphragm. AND as you know SING LOUDER, believe in what you're singing...makes it sound better and more genuine.

now thats a mighty fine comment :D thanks for the advice. i have very little confidence in my own voice and i think thats probably my biggest downfall. thanks a bunch for the apology, there are loads of people on here that just browse around insulting peoples singing ability without justifying themselves in anyway. i feel sorry for these people because they clearly dont have any respect for peoples feelings! but i had a feeling you werent one of those people lol.

Haha, good judgement call. You've got definite potential though...you just gotta believe your voice is worth something or else it isn't...it took years of me recording songs to find my voice and be comfortable with it. Guitar is solid though. You obviously have musical inclination, so just roll with it.
