Any way you could make a video on how to take apart the power plug? Not the best with wiring but if i see what I'm doing then it should be no problem.
my 04 acura tsx back speakers do not work anymore and i dont know why not. i had a sub hooked up to the back speakers in the trunk but when i removed it, only the front speakers stayed on and now the back speakers dont come on. Do u think u would know what is wrong with it? I might have shorted a fuse or something because i mightve installed the sub to the wrong connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not to come off like a jerk but why would u buy an external XM receiver for an Acura TSX when I'm sure you could get something from the factory (Yes its alot of money but its worth it) so it all works with the radio and if u have steering wheel controls you can control your XM channels better and its safer... but great install of the second radio unit...
Thank you very much! This was a fantastic resource when the in-dash changer in my '04 TSX "lost its brains" and I wanted to hook up my MP3 player to the AUX input.
Yes my volume was too low also. I have just built a 20 dB pre-amplifier and installed it into the BlitzSafe box and I am now able to match levels using the volume control on the MP3 or XM. I plan on posting a video.
I think the Honda inputs are too low on purpose, what I cannot understand is why the after-market folks don't recognize this problem. It is very simple to increase the device gain to compensate.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH. Many Blessings Upon you!!! Granted I wasn't installing XM, but a very similar USA-Spec adapter for the iPhone, but your how too helped out a ton and it also showed how easy the whole process is. Excellent job and I have to give you props because it couldn't of been easy to take those photo's at the same time as installing the Blitzsafe, but you took the time to not only take pictures but make an excellent video. We Honda/Acura owners thank you!
very helpful. Thanks!

Great video!
I was able to install the Blitzsafe on an Acura TSX. It is the first time I have worked on any car.
(1) I did not need a tool to remove the tray. It slides right off using the palms of your hands.
(2) I had a bit of a hard time finding the 14 pin connector. I had not realized the picture is upside down and there are a few to choose from.

How is the volume level with Blitzsafe?
I just installed a GROM Audio on my 05 TSX but the volume is too low and unacceptable.
