The first 30 seconds of the song paints a vivid picture in my head: a farm during a drought and there is little vegetation to be seen, a tall three blades wind-pump rotates slowly in the breeze, and an old farmer sits on the porch or his failing farmhouse. The farmer is chewing tobacco, has a shotgun nearby, and the shadow from his hat hides the top of his face and eyes from the sun. Times aren't the best but all he can do is sit and wait.

She's probably the only character in the series whose running as fast and hard as she can TOWARD her past, wheras Jet Spike and even Ed seem for the majority of the series to be running away. Everything about her resembles a woman desperately wanting to cry out for help but can't get past a thin near-nonexistent level of integrity to do so.
