  • nice story hahaha lol.

  • Brilliant. Very funny and entertaining. I enjoyed watching this with my brother Andrew, who drew my attention to the item. Many thanks.......MUCH BETTER THAN TERRESTIAL TELEVISION !!!

  • Even a VHS from the 80s would look better than that.

  • Han shot first! ... 'nuff said!

  • This is an amazingly funny video. Good job on the Grande. Or is that Venti?

  • Wouldn't be something to find an unused cartage for a mint copy of this :)

  • It just amazes me how an artist can so utterly misunderstand & fail to truly value his own work. If Lucas had died after Empire, he be commonly thought one of the most brilliant directors of all time.

  • I RATHER WATCH THE ORIGINALS WITH SCRATCHES AND BAD AUDIO THAN , CGI JURASSIC PARK DINOSAURS WALKING IN TATOINE , SALCA PIT CARNIVOROUS PLANT, VADER SAYING NOOOOOO, EWOKS BLINKING, CGI JABBA, CGI SHIPS, ETC ETC ETC - LUCAS CREATED AND DESTROYED STAR WARS - WHAT A SHAME

  • FUNNY!

  • EXCELLENT .. I SPECIALLY LIKED THE ORIGINAL PRINT . WITH A FEW SCRATCHES I HOPE GEORGE GAGS ON THIS SUPERB DOCUMENTARY

  • Its called a joke dumb-asses.

  • Can you send me the telecine minus camcorder, the record, and a blank E-169 or T-120 tape so I can get it from film and LP to (really) Hi-Fi video home system recording?

  • Man, film restoration sure has changed in the years FOLLOWING 2009!

  • For some reason Super 8 footage of every kind is very hard to transfer well to video. But it still looks great if you run it through an original projector. I'm impressed that you found one.

Frustratingly, the Super 8 project light was prone to burning out after not very much usage (e.g., only an hour or two).

  • @jetuber If you look on my channel I have transfered many Super 8mm and 16mm prints to digital HD video with very little flicker. The way I did it was 1,use A Sony Digital 8 Camera and set it to 30fps, and 2. I used A HD Cannon camera at 24P and 1080p. This is for films shown at 24frp, for 18 frs, super 8 I used my friends Sony Fx-1 Hd camera set at 30 fps almost not flicker at all, but this camera flickers A lot when trying to transfer 24fps films.

  • I can get a better restoration - onto VIDEOTAPE - of that - using a telecine, an LP player, the telecine's RCA Output, and the LP Player's RCA output, into the VCR, and out to camcorder for digitization, with full audio quality.

  • dude what

  • "he betrayed and murdered the movie" ahhh, I see what you did there

  • I don't know why, but I found this documentary to be too funny.

  • This would require specialized tools ))))))))))))!!

  • Excellent restoration! This brings back a lot of great memories. I got this toy for Christmas in 1979...used the crap out of it! Eventually carved up the cassettes and edited into one reel to project on my super 8 projector. I should never have done that. Trying to acquire the cassettes again.

    This absolutely made my day!

  • you people our bunch of full to not khnow that was not 70mm

  • I really enjoyed this, despite not understanding the meaning of it lol

  • Roflmao thank you so musch for posting this.

  • The 'projector' is called a Kenner Movie Viewer. You can see the film throught the eyescope! It doesn't project! Dumbass!!!!!

  • Im buying a projector and this film because of this, i did notice you could get a sound version in super 8 as well as shorter and longer versions of this. I wonder if you can get full movies in parts in super 8 lol wouldn't surprise me.

  • mr licas fuck up star wars big time

  • they are comeing out with another starwars box set i heard again

  • I bought that kenner movie thingy when I was 12 years old back in 77 or 78. I worked ALL SUMMER to save the 7.99 it cost! Thanks for posting!

  • Amazing restoration.. for me this Kenner format was unknown... you have a jewel in this site... congratulations...

  • haha

  • Could you upload the whole restoration?

  • @StarWarsFan786 -- That IS the whole restoration!

  • I loved it! Thanks.

  • Great work !

  • Sweetness!

man, you got to make this film available for people to get in the full version!

Overthrow the tyranny of the Empire of lucasfilm! Han shot first!

  • Me and everyone at work are laughing our butts off.

I had better be able to see this at Sundance next year.

  • LOL, very funny!

  • Amazing

  • Brilliant! That is a treasure.

  • You found Star Wars! Genius!

  • That was awesome.

More genuine by far than the Special Edition versions.

    --SKot
