  • These videos are wondeful- full of artistry and crafy, with a minimum of flash and ego. Very useful. (Trying to figure out the leaf application on those bits...)

  • yep, gonna do that. May I ask what factory you trained in?

  • no factory....just me

  • well damn man, that's really cool. Keep up the good work :)

  • are those graphite stick parcioffis he is using? always wondered how well those compared to wood ciofs

  • I believe they are teflon. Usually teflon tubes slid over a pair of jack blades. Wonderful to watch such a gifted glassblower at work. His goblets are truly amazing.

  • interesting, I never even knew that was a thing. how would you say those compare to normal wood jacks? Where can I get ahold of the right tubes? (I assume there's grades of teflon?) and yeah man, that guy's got a ton of skill, i love this vid.

  • I used a pair in the factory where I trained but we all stopped using them for health concerns. Those may have been justifyed or not. That being said, different parchioff blades are good for different applications, from swedish style paper to graphite composites, it depends what you are making. You might want to contact Mr. Schunke himself. He would know more about the teflon than I.

  • nice pitcher!

what color is that it looks pretty cool?

  • on the wrap and handle that is

  • looks sorta like gold leaf
