@jepege1979 Well, I can't discuss those performances that you mentioned because I haven't watched them. But out of the the videos I found here, the only one in which she hits the orginal key is in The Lottery Show, but it seems she mixes some live notes with pre-edited parts.

I didn't mean she's not a good singer. I love her singing high or low, but it's a fact that most of time she doesn't reach the exact notes she did on studio, probably cause she doesn't mean to damage her vocal cords

Sometimes she records songs with a higher register than her natural. Studio technics allow that. 'The reason', for instance, she's never hit the same high notes she does on the album (at least I've never seen it).

She sings All by Myself live in the 90's. If you can notice she lowers the songs also live, though not all. This is to avoid damaging vocal chords from overusage extensively for hours everyday. She's actually doing good preserving her voice. Her last album proves it. What's good is she adlibs or freely sings using high notes to prove she still reaches high notes in between songs. She even said in one interview "I don't have anything to prove anymore" "I've done it" And truly she's an icon

You're right she doesn't lip the song, however, if you notice, the high not "anymore" is. That part is lipped. Also high notes and ending in "alone." A lot of artists do this like the other diva Mariah. Celine sings 1st verse of "Power of Love" then the rest is lipped. The whole song "To Love You More" has always been lipped since the 90's. She's just good in putting emotions, gestures, and expressions depending on the note of the song.

In many performances of this song in this tour, this note sounds different. Now, maybe she's lipping most of the time but there is some,more than one, FULL live renditions.

Why do you say she syncing.... her voice is such in tune from signing for the last 5 years that is sound like the recording. + it's also really hard to pre-record one note when you don't even know how your voice is going to be that day. May not match. She is totally signing.

As far as anyone would have doubts: Céline is in GREAT vocal shape! She does lower the key but she's done it often, not only with this song but also with 'That's the way it is' and some other songs. Still sounds great to me!

Does anybody know what note she hits in "Refuse to Dance"? I've always wondered. I don't know if it just sounds higher because it's quieter than some of her other high notes, but it sounds pretty high to me.

Yes! She's still got it and it's live. After being a Celine fan for so long, it feels great to still hear her go that high. But you guys are right, she can hit it here, but more reserved for Taking Chances. I must admit though ... that song is probably harder? All By Myself ... somewhat goes in a flow of higher octaves, but Taking Chances is a little lower and then it goes up higher suddenly?

@celinetranslations An octave lower than the actual recording would be an F4 and this note is an Eb5 and in the nineties the note was an E5 a note lower than the actual one (F5) and one higher than an Eb5 (the note displayed here). It was two notes lower than the original here and in the nineties it was only one. Saying it was an octave lower is wildly inaccurate.
