Hi, its not a good idea to charge your lipo's in a plastic container.. they can go unstable and ignite (google handling and storage of lipo's), better to charge and store in a metal conainer , earthenware or a proper lipo bag... cheers, youv'e some nice gear there..
Who the he'll cares if the dude is rich. I seen kids spend 2k on a set tires and rims! I know there not rich. they bust their ass working for it.
Most that stuff is not expensive anyways. Sounds like he is smart shopper. wait till he starts building jet or turbine planes. you better get a nice wife that understands 12k for one!
@team222badbrad Yer i agree! Why spend $200 on a new item when you could spend half the price on a second hand one which is jst as good and works fine!
Most of them sit or hang. I mostly use the new ones or the cooler ones. Everyone is cool for some amount of time until I find some other new one to buy.
hey um i got a question about batteries. i need one for a slash so can you use a lipo battery even if you dont have brushless or do you have to have brushless?
The problem is that they are delicate and RC usage is just not nice to them. Are any of your lipos puffed a little? That means they technically are damaged and should be disposed of. However that is ridiculous because they most likely still work fine. The only practical solution is to keep them in a fire safe box or bag.
How do u afford all this stuff?

First of all you DON'T KNOW .001% about me.
Rich NO. Spoiled NO.
I earn my money the hard way!
Yes I've spend THOUSANDS on RC stuff, but that doesn't mean I'm rich or spoiled.
Lots of old farts like you have much more RC equipment than I do and I'm sure they earned their money just the same as I do.
Jealousy isn't going to buy you anything that's for sure!

baconator127 2 years ago
You can use a 2s lipo with the stock brushed Slash, but you need to purchase a lipo cutoff so that your lipo battery voltage doesn't go too low.
If it goes too low you ruin the battery.

how much areu selling the transmitter for?

Please get something better for your lipo storage.
billyzelsnack 2 years ago
Why?
team222badbrad 2 years ago
Because they like to start on fire. Search for lipo fire on google and you'll find tons of reports including garages and cars burning.
billyzelsnack 2 years ago
Yes and 99% of those videos were because of user error.
Sure it isn't a bad idea to store your batteries in a fire proof container, but I just don't have one.

how do you like thoes walmart crawlers
traxxashpilover 2 years ago
They work pretty good. The axles are kinda big so they get hung up.
They have two speeds and they actually have lead acid batteries which gives them most of their "mass".
They don't make them any more and if you break them well "oh well".
