  • Hi meghan, I love your videos. You are lovely and inspirational. I am starting HRT soon. Question, does HRT sometimes cause discomfort in the genitals area? I heard a few transfolks having this problem.

  • I've had women do that to me many times, talk over me. We as a society need to learn about the native american talking stick.

  • 19? you look 21 :) The best thing that I like about being trans, even though I don't think I'll transition, is my compassion and opening up to new ways of thinking and solving problems.

  • Meghan, you should try fashion frames. There are so many different styles in glasses. You could have fun. Anyway, love your videos. Thank you.

  • I have noticed, more and more myself, that any time I wanted to talk in many meetings, invisible..... Fashion is daring, embrace the diversity Meghan.... Thanks again for the share :)

  • hi Meghan!..We Miss You! ... (transrooms)

  • id give you a pedicure,seriously! lol

  • great channel Meghan! You are gr8 doll and I loved u on the Kevin and Bean show. Hugz and peace from Australia x

  • About the incident where you were ignored in the lab: that might have been because you weren't part of their group of friends, or simply because you were different - if you had been in some other obvious way not like them, they would have treated you the same. I remember a politics class when in school, and I couldn't get a word into the discussion edge-ways - it just became a conversation between two or three other boys (it was an all-male class), and the teacher didn't intervene.

  • Enjoyed this, and I love the glasses. I think you probably made the right choice, you're really womanly...

  • OMG! So have to get my bf to watch this. Guys think we have it so easy, but we can be ten times smarter than them and noone with a penis notices anything about us except for the way we look. thats why we feel so pressured to look good or we are totally invisible!

lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” -

    :)

  • It is absolutely that you are grateful for your life. It is beginning of wisdom

  • Hi Meghan you look beautiful as always thanks for another great post! A good idea for another? What's something you can get away with now that you could never do before, and not clothes but actions, etc? I agree with your issue of being ignored now, but there are sly benefits to being a woman that men don't get too, and they're so nice when they occur. Anyways love u and glad you seem well! XOXO Michaela

  • Sorry to hear about the sexism you experienced since you transitioned. It's like you have to work that much harder to stand your ground and be taken seriously as a woman. However, you are a positive and strong-willed person, and I know you'll persevere no matter the obstacle in your way. You'll get over it. My thoughts and prayers with you always as you go on your life's journey.

  • Meghan what did your ex say? did you ever talk over her? I was just wondering because before hormones i talked over a lot of other women and it was not because i devalued them, but because i had to show i was the "man" . weird huh? now i do not even care and i would never interupt anyone .so different now but you know what ? I like it this way .And yes i am in banking too... still . I hope your thanksgiving was good! take care Jenny

  • Awsome Pro and Positive Trans Self Video.. Very Remarkable..

  • & this Holiday season your community should be thankful it has you Meghan, Happy Holidays

  • I can honestly say I don't believe anyone until they prove that they know what they are talking about. Once I gain trust in what they say by researching what the question was, then I will start to believe them without the research. Doesn't matter to me what the sex/gender of the person is.

Are you still working on bringing the sexy back this year? :)

A brunette with glasses who loves to read and has a brain to match. *swoon* :)

    Be well Meghan.

  • Hello I have to say I am leaning so much from you videos and thank you for that. I have a question for you. Now I know you might have put this into a video some where, but I have not seen it. How old were you when you started to transition. I am 39 and I am starting therapy. I feel so old with all of these videos that I watch. I have this fear that I will not be able to transition the way I want. I am still really new to YouTube so I don't know were to look for your response so if it is easi

  • That Shhhhhhhhh made me laugh, haha.

  • Love your attitude and positive outlook.

  • You look lovely as always. I will always be a supporter of yours. You are often in my thoughts and prayers

  • They're both regular contributors on Autostraddle, which btw is an awesome and welcoming site!!!

  • @rvbgeek Yes, I checked that site out in detail today, it IS awesome :) They have another reader now!

  • @MeghansLife When I first found Autostraddle I was cautious because I wasn't sure how being trans would be received, but I was amazed by the support I found and then I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that Annika and Sebastian where contributors!!

  • Also re: the invisible thing. OMG so true. I have lived in female skin all my life, and I work with all men and I am constantly ignored. I have a VERY big mouth too, also am VERY smart, but it doesn't matter. It blows my mind.

  • @montyollie Monty, it's so crazy. I really, really hope that I didn't do that pre-transition. I don't think I did, but wow, what a terrible way to treat someone!

  • Nothing to do with the topic of your vid, but you look fab! Love the top and necklace!!

  • I dont really consider myself transgendered because I always knew I was a girl. If thats the case, then I never needed to transition to anything. I did have surgery but I dont consider that a transition. i just consider it a surgery.

  • I have not started transition and probably will not for a long time due to the situation I am in, but the best thing about being trans is that you realize who is actually your friend and who is not. The other great thing about transition is that the you will get to know the truth about the people you meet, if and when you feel comfortable enough to tell them you are trans. Someone should do a video on the disadvantages of being cis.

  • I just adore you and the vibe you put out.

  • Yes, being seen as a woman by others means constantly having to prove that you are worthy of being heard. It's nauseating because it's all just a shell of who we are. I'm a transman and still living as a woman currently. Being belittled because of my bodied gender is something that gets to me more than any other hardship because of the fact that it's not accurate AND I'm being disrespected. I know that you get it already, but I'm just commenting on this topic.

  • @Whitedoggy24 That must be really hard on you, doggy :( Gender dynamic and differences can really exacerbate the gender issues we face sometimes, I think.

  • Have yet to find anything worthwile in transition. Particularly now that I'm 10 months into hrt and experiencing my 2nd enormous estrogen drop. This severe depression that results is way worse than anything before. I have no positive results and one suicide attempt while on hrt....

Have you found out why your estrogen dropped so dramatically?

  • @NaomiClareNL Naomi, I got for another check-up next month, I'm convinced it's because I was only on patches and my body was either not absorbing the E or it was absorbing it too fast and my body was depleting it. I'm not sure, I do feel better these days. I'm really sorry that you are having those issues :(
