Satan doesn't escape anything, God gradually draws his person back so Satan can take authority over the earth. It's a fixed principle that we see repeated through history but gets more widespread towards the end. Also, Hell is eternal & there's no way out accept through repentance in this life.

Saying "I'll pray for you" tends to annoy people quite a bit too. To many of the nonreligious it comes off more like "I'm incredibly smug about doing nothing.", regardless of how you intend it. I'd say that you should avoid telling people you'll pray for them, but that makes for a kind of "tree in the woods" type of problem.
@pamew i agree with you in the fact that in any situation saying "ill pray for you" is not enough or not necessary. for instance, if i come up to a homeless person on the street suffering from the cold and starvation and a lack of clothing, there are three things you could do. 1. right the person off and go on your way, 2. say "ill pray for you" and go on your way or 3. actually do something for their betterment.

Why wait for hell? Try this experiment instead: 1) Turn the gas or electric burner on "high" and wait till it gets good and hot. 2) Take your pants off 3) Hop up on the burner and "party" just like part of you were in hell! Stay on there a while because hell is eternal. Once you're in, you stay in. Now, if you are afraid to do this experiment, you'd be wise to take a few months to read the Bible. Of course you won't like it but you may have a different view of God & the experiment afterwards!

Satan doesn't escape anything, God gradually draws his person back so Satan can take authority over the earth. It's a fixed principle that we see repeated through history but gets more widespread towards the end. Also, Hell is eternal & there's no way out accept through repentance in this life.

Saying "I'll pray for you" tends to annoy people quite a bit too. To many of the nonreligious it comes off more like "I'm incredibly smug about doing nothing.", regardless of how you intend it. I'd say that you should avoid telling people you'll pray for them, but that makes for a kind of "tree in the woods" type of problem.

@pamew i agree with you in the fact that in any situation saying "ill pray for you" is not enough or not necessary. for instance, if i come up to a homeless person on the street suffering from the cold and starvation and a lack of clothing, there are three things you could do. 1. right the person off and go on your way, 2. say "ill pray for you" and go on your way or 3. actually do something for their betterment.

Why wait for hell? Try this experiment instead: 1) Turn the gas or electric burner on "high" and wait till it gets good and hot. 2) Take your pants off 3) Hop up on the burner and "party" just like part of you were in hell! Stay on there a while because hell is eternal. Once you're in, you stay in. Now, if you are afraid to do this experiment, you'd be wise to take a few months to read the Bible. Of course you won't like it but you may have a different view of God & the experiment afterwards!

I read once that what we call the book of genesis is a dumbed down version of Summerian mythology. In the original version Adam had a first wife, Lilith, who was cast out of Eden for trying to be the dominate spouse. She got it on with the devil and they created all the demons.
