The Euro Accord version is so much better. In Australia, Honda sells both—Euro version as 4-cyl, Accord as V6—but I'm not sure why, the Euro version is so much sexier and the 4-cyl is a much better engine.
I think the Euro Accord is sold as Acura TSX in US—can anyone confirm this?
I have rented more than 50 cars like the Accord but I always love it when I get the Accord because the handling isnt race car but its quality, it just feels tight like a drum.
@jaemurl Yeah. You really are out of your fucking mind. Kia couldn't make a car with a 1/3 of the Prestige, Reliability, and Quality of a Honda. Step off bruh.
ill have to disagree on this one... the accord is starting to look dated and honda is starting to lose its racing pedigree soul when it comes to their road cars. but thats just my opinion.
Still amazed at my 2008 Accord 4 Door V6 in pearl white everyday. The interior while not exciting is eons better than the current Camry with light blue plastic all the way down the dash. The Accord is also HUGE but handles like a smaller car. My friend who had only sat in S classes and 7 series all his life complimented the rear leg room and the quality of the leather seats. Only glaring complaint is the gearing sometimes does not feel smooth due to 5 gear + cylinder deactivation of the V6.
@ouzts12 About the Honda Accord red rear rectangular lights, that is actually the original 2008 redesign of the Honda Inspire sedan which is the North American Accord version of the car. Honda always waters down their cars for the North American market, the company is more use to European competition i.e., Formula One racing and competing with Mercedes and BMW luxury sales.
Honda-Home Of Never Dead Automobile. It's impressive how many miles you can put on those cars. I would like to know the secret of the Honda-Acura factory when building these cars. They last for generations. I've been to third world countries and you only see Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Daihatsu and the luxury japanese. Recently one person got to a million miles in a Honda. Incredible.
@ilovecats748 I would want a v6 because of the power, but Honda does need change there v6 engines or a major update. They have been using the same type of engine for years
@ilovecats748 I have a 2004 accord v6 coupe, And of course it will be more nose heavy and it will handle handle as well as the i4. But the average driver will not notice a difference in handling. They are going to pay attention to the cost and power.

I bought the Accord EX and it's excellent. I test drove other cars but came back and bought this car.

It can be established that Honda pays Car and Driver each year to include its cars on their 10 Best list.
Honda still uses a 5 speed auto transmission. PATHETIC.

Excellent commentary, Mr. Sam Smith. For what it's worth, I've long admired your Taddy Porter and Oatmeal Stout.

Don't hate on the Accord, it is a decent car in the this class even after 5 years and an aging platform. Hondas age well.

V6 is in its own class. They felt it would be unfair to rank it with inferior models

What's wrong with the v6?
willowcairns 2 months ago in playlist 2012 10Best Cars 18
@willowcairns I think they said that the V6 makes it really nose heavy and not handle very well.

@willowcairns If you want one, get one. Just know that it will be more noseheavy and handle not as well in comparison to the 4 cyl.

@willowcairns It's all relative.
ilovecats748 2 months ago
@willowcairns I believe the V6 adds extra weight to the front of the accord, and throws off the front/rear weight balance
corvettefan96 2 months ago
@corvettefan96 no, i think they mean that in the v6 category, the passat v6 is better than the accord v6
