Hey, did you get any razor bumps and how did you deal with them? I shaved my head too but i got razop bumps ALL OVER MY HEAD! I panicked!!! I only did it a few days ago so im still dealing razor bumps. I keep thinking my hair wont grow back bcuz the bumps may damage my hair follicles.
@asantewaa84 Yes I did, moreso from the dirty clippers that were used on my head prior to the razor shave. Don't worry about your hair follicles...it only looks and feels worse than the actual damage being done. You got razor bumps b/c dead skin and dirt clogged the pore and as the hair grew, it was blocked by the debris and curled back in. Or, the dirt/dead skin gets into the pore and irritates it, causing bumps. [keep reading...]
@asantewaa84 So yeah, what i did is use this stuff called "No Bump". Comes in a see-thru green 4fl oz bottle, and my bro-in-law said he got it from Sally's. Just put it in a lil spray bottle and mist it all over ur head. It burns like the gates of hell as it kills bacteria and does its job.
From now own when u shave, RUB YOUR HEAD DOWN with rubbing alcohol. And make sure the razor is fresh..dont wanna put old dirt onto a new scalp.
