  • Wow, that is impressive! I've been waiting for something like that in blender!

  • nice bro

  • just screen capture and nodes or something?

  • yep. I had a black background image in the Blender UI, recorded it and used compositing afterwards.

  • could you post your shader settings?

  • It isn't rendered.

  • great

  • Love the new smoke engine. Most realistic fire to date!

    I CAME

  • Could u make a tutorial for 2.5.

How to make fire because, the way how the fire is made is (i suppose) much diffrent.

    Nice channel

  • tolle videos, und danke für die tutorials ! ich freu mich auf mehr :)

  • wow, this is amazing :D

  • how do you save and playback rendered animations?

  • Go to the Render buttons, and change the Output Type to a video format (I like to use AVI JPEG, myself). It'll also show the output directory, which you can change if you want. Render the animation, and the file will be there in that directory. (I'm not sure about playback within Blender, I usually just open the video file.)

  • this looks great. might i ask what settings you used to get it to spin and twirl lika that?

  • when 2.5 comes out officially, it is said it will be called beta0. That mean that even then they expect it to change, be unstable and that you should report errors, so that it can be improved. I am using 2.5 now and having a lot of fun. Not ready for production usage but great for play and it helps make it better with bug reports!!

  • Where did you get it!? :P

  • BTW my smoke demo sucks but it has a link to how to RENDER it. This version was not rendered but done from the GUI interface preview.

  • you can download current blender builds from graphicall(dot)org

  • Real time fire, that's stunning!

  • real time? this is pre rendered no?

  • "pre-screencasted"

  • ok... this statement could be misunderstood... It is not real time.

  • nice, even better considering.. is it done with just open gl shading?

  • yes. I made onlya screencast and composed it afterwards.

  • Please tell me how to do that! This looks better than the tutorial you have up. This is amazing. How did you get Blender 2.5, I thought it wasn't out yet? I couldn't find a beta download on the blender site so... yeah.

  • you can download 2.5 builds and many other user builds from graphicall(dot)org

  • the 2.5 builds can be unstable of course...

  • Okay, thanks! I'm just going to wait until 2.5 comes out officially.

  • better then real fire.almost fluffy :D just kidding, wicked amazing

  • Amazing!

  • looks great

  • wow realy nice
