Im half Mangaian, Dad started up the Southland Mangaian Club, use to have the kids dancing & traditional food socials as fundraisers. Was in Aitutaki a few weeks ago but Mangaia on the cards next year. Haven't been there since I was 10 (29 years ago) ...man!!

Your grandparents are our next door neighbours in Mangaia, Oneroa, Aremauku. Titangi and Kura are my parents.They are still there when I went back last christmas 2008. So Tangike to you. Always glad to see when Mangaians acknowledge their heritage even if they are half Mangaians.

You're so right. It should have been but I didn't have one that worked with the pictures. Look it like this..Atiu is paying tribute to Mangaia!!!!!!!  (And anyway, I love both islands)
