I know the whole DB is all about Goku and all...but his power wasn't that great when he was young...compared to his sons he was nothing at this age.

When Gohan fought Super Buu he was at least as strong as a SS3 and he was more or less the same age as Goku is here...and Goten wasn't as strong,but still,in DBGT he was probably strong enough to take Cell without much of a problem.

it took Goku quite a while to be that badass...whereas for his sons it was easy.

back in the day that goku still was strong but could get his ass kicked by other characters and when yamcha and krillin really mattered i really liked tien and still play him in the games sometimes they made everyone else so overpowered DBZ slowly lost characters but i still liked it alot but then GT came and boom goes the dynamite the only important figures were goku and vegeta and uub and everyone dies...sucks to see it end like that

DBZ fans are always saying how weak humans are. But look, Tien is fighting a Saiyan and equaling him. I know Goku powers up and later beats Tien, but still. Tien goes on to become one of the strongest fighters in the universe by the Buu Saga. I wouldn't say humans are weak. If they train they have incredible potential.

@KokeIsHardcore It's assumed he was one of the strongest. After all, he "held down" Semi Perfect Cell which is no small feat. Also, he attacked Super Buu with the Tri Beam attack in the Buu Saga. Although it didn't effect Buu, it showed that Tien was very powerful as a result of his years of training.

This is why looking back Dragonball was better then DBZ fights were much more interesting with tactics and planning not just throw ki blasts everywhere or get the next level of super saiyan. As a thirteen year old I loved DBZ but now I can look back and those fights get really old really fast.
