Craig was written out because he looked older than the other kids. he was replaced by Rob.

Honestly, I could see Craig as a member (not in place of Rob of course, but as an addition). He was older, yes, but he had a very friendly, calm, easy-going personality that would fit in with the team.

Now, I like Hector as Alex's friend/student, but to me he seems out of place in the team. He is too young and seems immature compared to everyone else. I guess I can get used to it, but the fact that he replaces Rob makes me resent Hector a bit.

Not entirely. Remember the second part of "Over A Barrel", he was quite cool with the compromise he and Tina's brother had. Letting Tuan stay in the band if he doesn't ever ditch school again, with the condition that they practice after school lets out. That sounded like a pretty fair deal, if you ask me.

In one Ghostwriter book "Digging for Clues," the tension between Tina's father and Tuan was even more heated over Tuan's desire to get his own apartment with his bandmates. In the end however, they came to a pretty good comprisme. I'm not sure if I want to say what it was in case anyone wanted to read the book themself, even if they're all pretty hard to find now.
