  • Julius Erving was an absolutely MAGNIFICENT Basketball player.....of that, there is NO DEBATE. His performance in this All-Star showcase was actually pretty symbolic of the level of play he achieved throughout his entire career. One of the more profound highlights of this day, however, was the Temptations performance of the National Anthem before the game. It was the musical equivalent of Julius's athletic achievements.......trust me! This performance can also be witnessed on YouTube.

  • shoulda taken more shots, if kareem or kobe shots attempts wow racodbook be broken

  • hey thats not still thomas pass the ball to him not a still LOL

  • As you watch this, be reminded that Julius is about 34 years old here, not a young buck anymore.

  • julius errrrrrrrrving.nuff said

  • Props to Bird at 2:50 passing to Doc.

The crowd came to see a show....give it to the Doctah.

  • This is the 1983-1984 game, not the 1984-1985 all-star contest. Micheal Jordan was not in this one.

  • Hard to believe Julius is 34 years old here. What a freak athlete with the most freakishly long arms.

  • These players would blow away any superstar today and thats just the truth

  • and they were tougher too!

  • @GoingOn9Lives

I do agree with you! I watch old basketball games from the '80s and I can say that this decade was the Gooden Age of Basketball.

    Ciao
