Most Filipinos nowadays go to school because of the mindset that education has a promise of prosperity, understating the fact that it is the love of knowledge that will open the door to prosperity. Students must be knowledge-seeking, not diploma-seeking or grade passers. There's a big difference between attaining diploma and attaining knowledge or skills. Diploma gets laminated and posted on the wall, while knowledge and skills is the key to really get a job or succeed in your chosen career.
