we launched from a ramp, 1kilometer away and 800 meters above the landing.

i use a quick release like the kitesurfers do as an emergency release.

it was probly my 20th jump or so, yes shitty body control, then almost passed out at the opening, blurred vision, so i just pulled the breaks when i saw the ground, going straight downwind, at least somebody saw that......

well i suppose you are kind of right but because of the low jumping altitude and the use of base gear i think this is more of a base jump than a skydive although it is contradictory to the definition of base jump which is jumping from a fixed object
