Freddie King, spelt 'Freddy' on his instrumental album 'Plays Surf Guitar'? not sure about the title, but hes one of the all time great guitarists, checkout his instrumentals 'The Stumble' and 'Hideaway', both have been widely covered, theres loads of live footage on here, just do a search for 'Freddie King'.
