thankyouuu! I'm a vegan, so when I make your recipes, I just substitute your non-vegan ingredients to vegan ingredients, but it would be great to have complete vegan recipes on here too
this is a real good step..really looking forward to it... but i would request u to also include recipes for diabetics in ur segments... may be along with allergy free recipe a new addition can be diabetic friendly recipes... becoz diabetes is not just about eliminating sugar from the recipes but also carb and fat.. and with Indian food it becomes difficult.... so plz give a thought to my suggestion.. really appreciate it...
My son was allergic to egg when he was small and i suffered a lot... i was lucky it became proper in the age of 8. but i do know the need of such food so good luck and god bless you...... :-)
That's so wonderful ladies! I am very fortunate in that I don't suffer from food allergies (unless I over-indulge in Cashews) but having Mangala Deshmukh aboard with your team is going to help a lot of people! Bless you all! :-)
The increase in food allergies has been linked to the way modern, mostly agribusiness operations, grow the food, and the introduction of gmo foods into the foodstream. Here in the US where the FDA has been successfully lobbied by these companies against labeling GMO it's becoming increasingly likely the the "organic" food stream has become contaminated.
could you possibly help me. i am allergic to Almonds, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, i can eat one or two walnuts but not anymore. almonds are the worst and then hazelnuts. i swell up, tongue, mouth, eyes all swell up, stomach aches like no mans business. even almond powder thats in the air i get affected by.
i love cashews, peanuts, and pistachios. its very weird because i can eat certain nuts and i can eat certain nuts from the treenut family. so what is it exactly in those that i'm allergic to?
Looking forward to the new line of videos - the trouble is people are developing so many new allergies as well. For eg. when in India if I ate too many ripe mangoes by themselves in the summer, I'd break out in boils. But in cooked form, green or ripe, or as pickles or as lassi, it didn't seem to trouble me. For a while here I was allergic to tomatoes and things sour - a pain for me as south Indian! - till i went through a detox program and took fresh green juices for a while then kichadi...
@villagebelle I think that you're allergic to the acid in the food, I knew a guy whow as like that. He couldn't eat red tomatoes but yellow ones he could, because yellow tomatoes have very little to no acid in them =-)
I have never known so many people to have so many allergies as I have in just the last couple of years. I think a lot of it is from all the chemicals, and GMO fake crap thats in all the proscessed foods we eat. I choose to eat organic as much as possible and food as close to its whole food as possible.
Special thanks to the both of you! Ive recently been lucky enough to land myself a beautiful indian girlfriend who i am now spoiling with recipes from her home! She loves it! And i couldnt do it without showmethecurry !
I had one question. whenever i see your recipe video at starting u both show some kind of add and i tried to find the mirchi recipe in your list but i could'nt find it so can u please tell me what recipe that is i would love to try it.

Fantastic! I became aware of your work just a few weeks ago and have been attempting to adapt your recipes on my own due to my Celiac disease (gluten intolerance).
I would love to see your recipes for the different kind of flat breads made with chickpea, millet and other gluten-free flours! Keep up the great work!
