I have an interesting question to all of you....Why these bands do not sustain for long? I am amused that the band cobble together and then break away and then cobble and then break away. I am unsure about Indian Ocean. But, you ask about Indian Ocean say 5 years later and the then younger generation would shrug off and would say"Who is Indian Ocean?"

I am from Maharashtra and we in Maharashtra have great respect for Bengali community as this community in every art form - music, theater, movies , sculpture have always been at the forefront of experimenting and has of late evolved into deeper exploration in this world of symphony.

Like Maharashtrians, Bengalis too had great warriors/freedom fighters, who sacrificed their life for mother India. Personally I had stayed in Pune for 2 years, 4 yrs back. Hey, can someone tell me if this was the performance at Esplanade in Singapore? I think it is. For those who might not be aware of the place, it's really a beautiful place for these kind of concerts. But it's hard to believe that Indian Ocean and Rabbi Shergill performed in the open arena where it's free of cost.

I totally agree with KUNBANS.. but awesome work is always awesome (music-wise, lyrics-wise n every aspect of this song is awesome)... do listen to its album version. brilliant piece of work. seriously this proves that INDIA is an ocean filled with skilled n soul-hearted musicians. Being a guitarist i know what it takes to compose a melodious music of this kind. I wish they had a lead guitarist too,onstage to accompany them with the same original effect. Studio version of this song was recorded using an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar .. however, in live concerts Indian ocean has hardly ever played the same version as the album version and the overdriven electric guitar sound is always absent .. and hence you can not see the "lead" guitarist ..
