  • woulda still beat my camry.

  • it was a clogged cat

  • could be a clogged cat.

  • Fuel regulators? fuel filter? fuel pump?

  • very fast

  • hahaha fucking General Motors!

  • dude it a chevy impala, i got got rid of mine, theyre horrible cars, tranny was slippin, intake manifold was cracked causing oil (4 quarts a month) to leak out, and burning antifreeze, my strong suggestion is sell this car asap!!!!!

  • Cars shaking like that= spark cables or spark plug

  • i think its a broken piston rod this happend to my dads old jeep and even flooring it it wouldent pass 40 or 60 cant really remember but please tell us what happens.

  • if it was a broken rod, it would probly though the crank shaft really out of balance, and it would self destruct.

  • well thats what happend on my dads old 87 yj. The connecting rod snaped and you could even hear what ever was left of the rod just waving around in there scraping the cyclender wall.

  • ya, thats diffrent though. that has a distinct sound. and it wouldn't run for very long ether.

  • catlitic converter is clogged and I would check the PCM for codes!....

  • clogged cat.

  • i know your problem.. its a chevy

  • ahahahah good call :P

  • clogged cat converter it happended to my moms car

  • clogged catylic coverter

  • seen it b4.

    its your catylic converter.

    its clogged.

u need a new one, like 200 bucks.

  • Could be a bad transmission since the input shaft connect to the crank and spins the inside components of the automatic transmission, then the axles connect to the transmission -- then to the wheels, and since the transmission moves the wheels basically the VSS [vechicle speed sensor] determines how fast that wheel is spinning-- so since i hear the car over revving, and no progress to the speedometer, i would suggest it's a transmission issue

  • So you think its a stator problem?

  • naa, it sounds like a clogged cat. i can head flexuations in the reving.
