  • Hardshoes was always my favorite, but you better not be caught with plates on them during competition, or you'll be disqualified.

  • There is another tipe of shoe aswell actually... It is like the hard sole one but it's even easier to dance in... it looks very like that one but its more like a runner

  • yes, my teacher Mandy has those.

  • @tulipagirl Actually, Those Are Just practice Hardshoes, Not A Necesatity and Not Competed with

  • Mmm,shy is my type.Sweet green one..:)

  • what are leinster, concorde, and liberty heels and tips? i would like to know please

  • They're just different grades of heels and tips, they make different sounds. If you look on the shoe websites there's usually a description of each.

  • wouldn't it technically be different time signatures, not tempos, cause two reels could vary tempos, etc.

  • exactly what I thought! the way she describes it would mean all dances are in 4:4 time which they are clearly not!

  • these are such cool videos! i love irish dancing

  • if you love our beautiful dance(i am a preliminary championship) then look up either Lord of the Dance with Michael Flatley or Riverdance, but not this, she is not an expert, so you shouldn't rely on her opinion and factual evidence

I don't want to insult anybody, but her videos are not exactly completely accurate and while its admirable shes trying to educate people, she should only do it if she has a TCRG or is an expert which she is not.

  • @DieDunkelsteFee For starters, the reference to ballet slippers is completely inacurate; you CAN get leather slippers and they don't look a thinglike Irish dancing slippers.

  • whoever's hard shoes those are must dance REALLY flat foot or else they wouldn't be that skuffed up on the bottem.

  • The outer soles are also black suede and therefore will show scuffing of any kind.

  • HAHA THANK YOU! Finaly a video post from someone who knows what irish dance is! Yahoo!

  • FANTASTIC shoes, I love this Irish dancing..:)
