Don't know if anyone watches this anymore, but the trick is not to keep holding forwards after launching. i was using the technique in this video and getting nowhere, till i stopped holding forward after the launch.

@YukonX187 mal (mit was du auch immer den dummie loskickst - beim pc strg) gedrückt halten? dann vergrößert sich der winkel und schwupp haste nen guten score ansonsten neues patch, oder halt alles von der xbox löschen un neu draufmachen is zwar scheise aber was solls.

Thanks man! I get also long time only below 170 meters, but then it just went over 170 m and now almost 175 meters. You have to launch just before end of "track" and then you will usually get over 170 meters :P
