hahah sorry. The engine in this Patrol is a TB48 or turbo 4.8L Inline-6. You can purchase stroker kits for them to increase the displacement to over 5.0L, and a T51R is a very large turbo for high hp applications. S13 is a Nissan 240sx or Silvia (89-94) and an S30 Datsun is any 240z, 260z, or 280z. A TH400 and a Powerglide are both heavy duty automatics for drag racing. The powerglide is a 2-spd, I can't remember if the TH400 is aswell or not. Cheers!

fuel delivery components do is allow users to deliver a higher volume of fuel to the engine, which is necessary on modified engines that require additional fuel to compensate for increased airflow from porting, turbo charging, supercharging, etc.

Theres some info fo your small brain, so you do need one if you plan on building a high horsepower

SuperChevy446, I know you need more fuel to go with the extra air forced into the engine by the turbo running higher than stock PSI to keep the stoichiometric mixture at 14.7:1... but why didnt you mention all the other mods? why pick to mention a fuel rail out of all things that car has had done to it? its like mentioning it has a high flow fuel pump.. or a rising rate fuel regulator.. no one really cares unless it was 3 high flow fuel pumps or something... -.-

I think the guy was just building the car to say he got 1000hp with so little mods and then he probably would have strengthened up the rest later but everyone knows the power and how strog the internals of the 2JZ is. no time and money westing it's obvious if you know about cars well. let's say both cars are tuned to the same level or the viper is 100 hp less, the viper will win because the patrol is too much heavy in weight and has too much air resistance(because it's tall) compared to the viper. and if both are stock let say the man in the viper drives at full throttle on 3rd gear at that time it's already passed the patrols top speed.

yes you are right. i absolutely agree with your reply because even if i like viper and it's performance, i don't want to be arogant about it's weak side(it can't do off roading) because it's not made for off roading. so when it comes to off roading, there is no doubt that a patrol wins. but don't forget that you can also convert a viper to an off road car if you have the money. and the most difficult part is converting the RWD to AWD but other processes are not that much difficult.
