This Pokemon team needs work. I really don't want to be mean so I'll just give you some tips.

1. What is with the detects and protects? They're not really that useful. People like to start off with Swords Dance or Sandstorm which don't get affected by protect or detect.

2. After you take out the protects and detects, vary the move sets.

3. NEVER use physical attacks and Sp. attacks, just one or the other. That way you can make one stat higher than the other rather than worrying about two.

Dragons are powerful and always popular, so that could be an option. I recommend Salamence, as Garchomp is placed in the Uber tier. He would be your main sweeper, I suppose.

Also worth mentioning that houndoom is a fire/dark type and not a water/dark type as you wrote, but I'm guessing it's a typing error.

Your team's movesets are not good. Try to add more variety to your attacks. Like if you have surf on your Golduck why do you have Hydropump too? More diversity is better.

Why do they have protecting moves? That's for a stalling team! A sweeping team has good offensive moves. And, why 2 fighting types? Uneven!

For example..why do you have 2 Fighting moves on Lucario and Blaziken?

Or 3 Grass moves on Sceptile?

And why did you put protecting moves on them? Protect and Detect are for a stall team and not a team of sweepers (very bad ones I must add).

@TommyA91 ya. its okay to have 2 same type moves for a pokemon if it really helps but u gotta get high stats in the stat they are good in and are supossed to have. u should have different move types with different combos with different move types

@prowii52 Grounds aren't weak to fighting (rocks are). And still, you should always focus on either special or physical attack when it comes to EVs and nature. A better build would have been focus blast, sunny day, fire blast and solarbeam (which would have covered grounds)

Neat, not the moveset I would have chose for myself but if you can win battles with it then it works for you, thats the good thing about pokemon it's all about what works best for you. Oh and btw pikarulz889 Garchomp is over rated and stupidly weak againist ice, sucks for that overgrown mistake of a pokemon most ice pokemon would whip it's ass, hell my Golduck with ice beam will one shot that thing. What lvl's are they. Because the way u got their attacks set is good but putting PROTECT on 2 pokemon, thats just not smart, no offense. When I put protect on ANY pokemon it would be because it'll need it. If their around lvl 50 I can take all BUT lucario and mesprit, maybe not quite all of them but most. Good team though.
