met jeff over 35 yrs ago at a house party cross the street from me around summer of 80-81. we were both around 12 or so. he was a protege of a guy named spinnin lenn and troy the wonderboy and other great philly dj's. lenn used to come to the party with a brief case handcuffed to his wrist. andd in the case they had classic 45's and would cut like nobody's business, then jazz got on, they did the orig scribble scratch with a pencil eraser, handcuffs and backs turned, he was a god then, nuff said
