Danger Mario makes the game too easy (but thats probably obvious)

10HP is much much more of a challenge

hmmmm pretty good I've done a ten hp run of the game myself including tattles and the pit of 100 trials although about 90% of the battles I used goombella :P

I tried using the charge badge and charged up a 77, I used it on the shadow queen (wanted to test if I could end it before the whole annoying star thing, usually I heat a pizza in the oven, take it out and come back), but I messed up! I hit her twice when I used multi/power bounce on her to keep bouncing on her until like 74, but I bounced only twice and it didn't work, I didn't press A because of the lag. I have to say that was the greatest fail I ever did in that game.

@TheGumGumMan The trick is to make it so when you finish Grodus you level up giving you a full heal. The strategy is to take out Kammy first so she cannot heal, charge attack power, or cast electricity or vanishing.

Good luck. Paper Mario is over the Virtual Console, so getting it is easy. Paper Mario 2, on the other hand, didn't sell too well (just like the original Paper Mario). It got Player's Choice, but then it got snatched up like crazy.

Grodus? It's crucial that you bring someone who can attack every enemy on the screen, like Vivian, as well as have a high FP. Otherwise, Grodus will hide behind that shield and chip away at Mario's HP while he takes reduced damage.

if you can figure out how to effectively prevent the barrier from getting too strong, Grodus will be a piece of cake.

Paper Mario 2 has a limit of 200 HP, 200 FP, and 99 BP, I think.

Leveling up is simple: Mario levels up each time his Star Points reaches 100. You can always check how many Star Points Mario has on the pause screen. Every battle will give Mario at least 1 Star Point, so all you need is patience.

Upgrading FP and BP only is doable--this is what I did--but only if you understand the game well. If it's your first time, focus on HP.
