Has there ever been any other fighter in the UFC who was given a title shot after just a 1win/1loss MMA record? This is one reason Brock became so unpopular with hardcore MMA fans. I thought fighters like Carwin or Kongo were more deserving at that time. If they just given him time things couldve been different for him as a fighter.

king mo knows whats up, he aint a hater.. he know brocks a natural talent and a beast, and the layoff and injuries DID have an effect.. ppl who claim otherwise is morons..

I think King Mo is right. Brock was rushed but, I think that Brock wanted that. He wanted that chance to be champion. Love him or hate him, Brock is no punk. Looking forward to seeing Mo's fight in Strikeforce too.
@bigmitchmma I also agree and I also saw a change in him from the way he was before his diverticulitis bout and after. Before he was a mean agressive fighter but afterwards he was calmed down even the way he carried himself he seemed more humble and it almost made Brock realize he wasnt invincible. Compare his first several fight to his last three and he looks like a different fighter.
@cpd3120 Same with Bob Sapp. Sapp beat Ernesto Hoost TWICE! Then CroCop beat the living shit out of Sapp. Sapp was never the same after that. Sapp is bigger and stronger than Lesnar.
