@stushanksta No, it's a standard tail piece. Zakk said he did it to reduce the string angle going over the tail, so as to avoid string breakage. How accurate a method it is for doing that, I don't know, but that is what he said.

@Wessel99 Zakk has been doing that for years now; I know that PRS has a wrap around stop-bar bridge. It probably has to do with vibration transfer and an action thing...basically it adds another distinction to his overall sound...not that anyone is ever going to sound like him...that's impossible. Bottom line: it's something he likes to do and he likes the way it sounds.
