Hi Mikey Bustos. Maybe I'm feeling a little less skeptical than before, but I'm curious about Ayerveda... How do they determine your constitution? I think I like the idea of saying you affirmations everyday because you don't have to believe in God or superstition to be reminded to feel thankful for what you have.
Mmmm... My sleeping pattern's a wreck. It's 3:26 AM here LOL and I'm still browsing the net ahahaha... Totally not healthy for a kid my age... I would just say that I would force myself to sleep at the right time but I always forget to tell myself that... lllorz

once you're body feels the least bit of sleepiness, sleep right at that moment regardless of what you're doing. that's the healthiest sleeping pattern because only your body can tell you when you need sleep the most. you must follow what your body tells you to do or else it will reject you.
oh, and since caffeine affects me, I don't drink coffee or iced tea by 5pm... unless I want to stay awake. :) most of all, which is the hardest part, I try not to think. the tv is also on but programmed to sleep, although a boring show does the trick. i guess a favorite position helps too :-)
I believe in holistic healing practices too! my acupuncturist said d best time to sleep is at 10pm. That way you're kind to your liver which processes a lot of your toxins from around 11-3am (makes you wonder how it adjusts in a diff. time zone). It's hard,I know! Also, don't eat noodles just before bed coz it takes time to digest(see the post on bangungot). If sleepy during the day, take short naps. Don't sleep too long or else u won't get to sleep at night.I like ur tips esp.inviting sleep.

Since I'm used to having overtime at work, I usually sleep late (11pm being the earliest) but I always make sure I drink lots of water before going to bed. I read somewhere that the cause of dying during sleep (acute hemorrhagic pancreatitisis) is because of eating too much before sleeping and not drinking water. It's important to be hydrated for blood & system circulation. Anyways, my 5-6 hours of sleep is enough for me and I sleep extra hours during the day on weekends =)
Now that school's over, 3am and 3pm doesn't make any difference to me anymore! But I'm trying my best to have a good sleeping pattern.. Right now, it's just messed up.
I heart sleep!! I work my day around how much sleep I want to get. Generally I aim for about 8hrs (& that's the recommended amount of hours right?) I find I'm a much happier and energetic person when I have a good night's sleep!
& being a college student, sleep is mega important. Next to vodka and two minute noodles of course. Haha ^_^
I miss naps. When I was living back home in Pinas. I usually nap, but now I couldn't even get a good night sleep anymore. I guess that's what 2 kids does to you. Hay Naku.
I love sleep too and i miss quality sleep a lot! I used to take it for granted but now that im older & busier im missing it so much. I have a baby so uninterrupted sleep is just not possible now. I try sleeping as early as i can at night so i get at least 4 hrs until the baby wakes up for the early am feeding. it was very hard at first i got used to it.
