If someone is interested to see a 120 film scann from the mamiya RZ 67 with a imacon i did a screen flow video of the scanned image at 3200 DPI result of 61 mpx. i am curently shooting my personal project only with film. because of the quality and the feeling of the image. you can watch the video on my channel is the first one
Snore.....snore......snore...... I sorry was I asleep? Rhetorical question, of course I was asleep, no wonder given how boring this video is. Loading film into a camera, spare me the sleeping inducing torture please, I'm off to play football with my mates.
You have no idea how much you have helped me! I loaned out a mamiya camera today for an assignment and started panicking because i still didn't know how to put the film in, you have saved my life!! thankyou so much
A couple of things: debris from opening the roll over the film-holder can ruin a frame and the folded tab of the roll is supposed to be slid under the empty spool and then inserted. Does it really matter? Who knows. I have had 2 for 12 years and they are great. Thanks.
ditto what everyone said and thanks also cause I forgot how I got the film loaded and just finished shooting a roll. Was able to get it out..thankfully....
Awesome Video! I am a student using a an RB67 Pro S with a less than useful user manual. This video made it really easy to load a film by myself, thanks
I also used an RB67 Pro-S when I went to school, and I loved that camera. It took really crisp images, and after getting my film back it'd always surprise me how amazing the quality of the images were. Mine didn't come with a manual either, and it took me a while to figure out how to load the film properly.
I sold it a few months ago in order to switch to digital, and I regret doing it. Whatever you do.....don't sell yours! ;-) It's a great camera.
"what the hell else would fit perfectly into a film back that says 120 on it."
Well, that'd be 120 film, of course. I use it all the time.
However, the title of this post refers to a completely different film - 120mm film - which in no way could possibly ever fit into this back. It's about twice as wide, for a start.
cool vid. i have a "Yashica A(i dunno if its any good)" that belonged to my grandma and i want to repair it and try it out. i would have never imagine it was that complicated to load the film heheh. but hey one question, how many shots can you get with one roll?
Thanks a lot for making this video. I am getting my Mamiya RZ67 on Monday. I cannot wait. It will be my first medium format and I was confused on loading the film. Do you have a video on using the camera? That would be great.
I'm sorry, but the music is CRAP!!!

How is it possible to load the film backwards? That is what I did with my last roll of 120 film.

This isn't 120mm film at all. Nothing like it.

what do you mean??
what the hell else would fit perfectly into a film back that says 120 on it. especially something that has the number 120 written on it.

I think it's only supporting the topic of the movie and the cameras origin.
By the way, nice one.
