thank you so much for sharing you're story :) and may i say you are so beautiful, at first i was all'' yeeee gay rights!'' *click video* then i was all '' :O ''
@bfbthatsme : Joe - I apologize for the late reply. Thank you so much for taking the time out to write. It means the world to me to know that anything I said could have helped you. I know its so much easier said than done, but please do all you can to see the amazing beauty and sparkle you have within yourself. Look for it, I promise you it's there. Don't let anyone keep it from you.
@LushiKitten : Rebecca...I am so sorry that you are going through such a difficult time at school. Please know how strong and amazing you are for knowing yourself so well at such a young age. If you ever need someone to talk to, please please message me. It WILL get better, even when it feels like it never will. Promise.
You are a beautiful young woman, thank you for sharing your story. I was closeted until just last year and at age 40 I finally came out to friends and family. After three children and a failed marriage, it's wonderful to finally be myself and share my life with my wonderful girlfriend. :-) It does get so much better. :-)
As much as we can do, from a teacher's perspective; stopping the class dead when someone utters, "that's so gay", to have it posted in our room, to listen...carefully, there is nothing more powerful and hopeful than to hear/see these stories. Bless you for doing this. XX
@colettekathryn : I couldn't agree more - listening and being aware can move mountains. The secret of life lies in hearing one anothers stories. Thank you for your words :)
Thank you, Lisa, for your inspiration and kindness and sincerity and most of all for beating the bullies by living your life (imperfect, and with ups and downs as life is) with such resolve. Truly beautiful. Thank you.
@lisamarieee83 You're very welcome. What @colettekathryn says is so true: It Gets Better and everyone creating it is a beacon for changing lives and for good. And yours and Josh Zepps contributions, particularly, have helped bring me to the point I should probably have got to years ago, were fear of rejection not to have governed who I've been till now. So, time to go off and tell the world (what they probably all know, anyway) and stop the fear. *deep breaths* (And thank you so much) :-)
I can't support a guy who uses his platform to spread viscious anti-gay woman hating by saying things like: Lesbians are not really Lesbians beause they love cock, and that women's vaginas are "disgusting meatholes" and "dirty disgusting cans of spam on the sidewalk."
His project has to be the most disingenuous thing I've ever seen.
Dan Savage is a hateful hypocrite who hates women and mostly lesbians more than anything.
