Bruce Springsteen - Stand Up for Heroes - "Land of Hope and Dreams" - Beacon Theatre - 11-9-11

My buddy Kevin, who is forced to listen to Springsteen whether he wants to or not when we're in my car together has only been moved to say to me, "I really like that song." And just like your buddy it was Land of Hope and Dreams. I'm so excited that we're gonna get to hear the studio version of it - even though I find it hard to believe that it can match the MSG version.

This song is so amazing. I was driving with my buddy in Australia in 03 and he's not a Bruce fan, but I had gone into a hmv to buy the Essential for the trip. Anyway this song came on, cruising up the gold coast sun blazing and he said ''whats this song called?'', you know that look on someone's face when their blown away by something, priceless memory :)

My pleasure. I just do it because I know how much it means to me when I can't attend a Bruce concert, and others post videos from those concerts at least giving me a taste of what it was like.
