@lessavyfav1 When you see someone riding a horse like that, you would wonder what he is up to. Any armed man riding a horse has a distinct purpose for riding one. Look at very notable examples such as cowboys and knights. All of them have one thing in common: they are all up to something they consider important! He may look like a monk or a scholar when on foot and when in crowd, but when he rides a horse, much of his true identity is recognized.

I think that the guards notice him because he's galloping. A galloping horse that comes out of nowhere with a mysterious guy in a white cape can look pretty suspicious, y'know. So when they see him galloping the game immidiatly recognizes it as being seen by the guards and they chase after him. So, that's why the guards chase after him everytime he gets on the horse...because he gallops right in front of them.

Free Running: A sport that not very many people do anymore. It's actually pretty basic stuff. Quick Step (Running up walls), Speed (Jumping from beam to beam. actually requires consistant velocity), and other such basics such as strength, grip, and courage.
