When I view my converted PDFs on my iPad the text is all over the place - not in correct paragraphs etc. Viewing them in PDF on the PC is fine so there must be a problem within the conversion process. Do you know if there's a solution? Thanks
@ashleygwen7 Strange. Have you posted this question onto Calibre's help/support page? If you can't find the answer in their usual guide materials and tutorials, try posting this to the forum and see what others have to suggest. (I haven't had this happen so I haven't explored what to do to fix it!)
@majnolajno44, Wow, that shouldn't take nearly so long. Have you tried rebooting your computer before running it, just in case there's a gremlin running around inside? I'll have a shot at converting something really big and see how it turns out, too.
Thank you for tutorial erina! My problem is that when I try to convert a PDF file (19 MBs) to ePub format it takes forever. I let it run for an hour or so and the work progress was stuck at 1%. Any ideas? My PC specs are OK, quadcore processor etc. so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
@Caram3lLov33 Are these two issues, a) upside down and b) only first two pages converting, still happening for you? (Very strange!) These instructions are only for a Mac... is that what you are using?
@Caram3lLov33 Sometimes I find I have to "outwit" my computer. Maybe try tweaking your document before you even covert it: turn your cover upside down, leave the rest the same?
Have you checked out the "help" section in Calibre's website?

@majnolajno44 So I ran it on a PDF document that is nearly 25MB, and it took about 3 minutes to turn it into an EPUB. Have you tried again lately?

One issue. Where I have a new paragraph, on my kindle there is a huge space before the next paragraph. Any way to fix this?
