I wonder why big oil companies do not invest in clean energy? Solar projects like th one in the Mojave Dessert requires incentives to continue growth, using renewable energy!!!! Our government needs funds in order to spur growth in these industries. The best way to do this is to put special carbon fees on private and businesses that use fossile fuels!! Then this money can be given to those who use, or are willing to use hydrogen, solar, and wind power to create energy!! This will job growth, and is a common sense thing to do!!!!

It would not be that hard to end the Federal Reserve . John F. Kennedy was on his way to doing it with Executive Order 11110 . Exe. Order 11110 was never repealed . First the Government has to audit the Federal Reserve then audit the U.S. gold, silver, platinum, and all precious metals it has in it's reserves . Then the U.S. Treasury has to issue and print 'silver certificates' (US issued notes) .

I wonder why big oil companies do not invest in clean energy? They have the money, they know their oil will all sell sooner or later so why not be the ones to spend our money ( their profits) on some good for the public interest. My guess is greed, they produce oil for $5 a barrel and sell it for $80 a barrel a wind turbin costs 5 million andwill not make near the profits their oil will. Cap and Trade is not popular with some Americans, but it is a bitter pill that we need to swallow!! It will however, save our planet in many ways!! It will clean up the environment, help stop global warming!! Carbon emissions has to go down. Pollution permits can be traded, making money for thos who invest in clean energy, because they can sell (trade) their permits to polluters!! Similar cap and trade was tried in Europe, but needs to go world wide in order to be really effective!!

Solar projects like th one in the Mojave Dessert requires incentives to continue growth, using renewable energy!!!! Our government needs funds in order to spur growth in these industries. The best way to do this is to put special carbon fees on private and businesses that use fossile fuels!! Then this money can be given to those who use, or are willing to use hydrogen, solar, and wind power to create energy!! This will job growth, and is a common sense thing to do!!!!

@helltrackrider Never mind. All I know is that a world that is not dependent on oil does not cause chaos. Tiny oil shortages leads to chaos. Relying on oil to not cause some sort of chaos is like relying on nitroglycerin to not explode while shooting it with a gun.

A better statement would be a world in which the Individuals Rights are paramount allows for the least chaos...
Chaos will be a factor in any world, but a world controlled and regulated at by force ensures excessive chaos...

@obamasuxacock I'm not blaming Bush for anything, thats not my point, I dont think like you people who are for Republican or Democrat; I said in the past that I dont have to lick the nuts of my party, I am free to agree or disagree with ideas. I am not a Republican or Democrat. Gas prices and blaming a political party is not my concern; if you read my posts above you would know my concern. My concern is that the dependency on oil is the greatest threat to the US and the world.

@Tompson958 it's not our dependency on oil, it's where we get the oil. we have plenty of oil right here in the US but due to government regulations brought on by guys like this clown we are stuck buying oil from countries that hate us......
