Anton was a Satanist and had no intrest in Magic or sorccery, so I very much dooubt he would have consulted on somthing he knew nothing about. actually, it's not, for this movie they focused mainly on the male which is surprising because they had the high priestess of the covenant of the goddess on hand while filming. it turns out that Manon was a real Gaelic sea god, but the writers didn't know that at the time. and apparently every time the actresses started the ritual, the sea actually got quite violent and it washed away the altar. go rent a new version of the craft, it comes with a 30 min making-of type thing! i enjoyed it

As for the High Priestess the did have one on hand who cleanesd the sets repeatively and monitored the liberations they too with the film. all four women have even stated their emense respect for the craft and tried to honor it.
