  • Fun to watch this video. While pursuing my BSME at U of F, I worked every weekend at the Gainesville Dragway. Started out handing out timeslips, then head of staging, starter, and finally the announcer. Lots of memories. By virtue of McLeod's awesome dual disk clutch holding together, I managed to take my Lister to the current all-time quarter mile record for the One Lap at IRP in '02. I expect that record to be broken this year. Good luck to all racers this year...10 more days till Tulsa!
